770307 I like your thinking.... but your own fanfics can benefit from this. Just keep that in mind space. Not everything is as bad as it seems the first time.
Don't change the fics. As an author, you have the right to draw a line and say, "From this point on I will not be adding new canon material." Besides, I suspect it won't be permanent change, even if it does happen.

Oh, I have no doubt. But not going to let a show dictate changes to my story. I've got the plot elements all lined up, and only they are going to change themselves as I push the story forward. I have no issues with what Hasbro does with their show, it doesn't impact my writing.
