Seriously, way too many people are panicking. I'm an author OF an Alicorn Twilight story and I'm excited to see where they go with this. I put in someone else's blog post saying something along the lines of, "Stop freaking out. Nobody cares if canon ruins your story because fanfiction is FAN. FICTION. It's supposed to be fun/imaginative/creative."
So, guys. Relax and enjoy it. Think of the episode as another fanfic (omg, bad piece of advice, I know). The show has pretty much been building up to something like this forever now

If you didn't see this coming, well... Just don't get upset, please.

Do there are any spoilers that Twilight will become Alicorn, or it is just big speculation ?
773154 They have released pretty much the entire thing, concept art and all. It is set in stone. Plus, Meghan McCarthy or however you spell it has confirmed it as well.
glad to hear about the incoming update. in other news; my eyes are bleeding from overexposure to the canon alicorn twilight topic...(i stopped counting blogs and alike after 15 or so, and im way over 20 at this point)
773342 Sorry to contribute, but I felt I should at least let everyone know I'm not going shallowly wash myself of the show because of it or scrap/alter TQP in any way.
In fact, as a HUGE fan of Twilestia, I'm looking forward to all of the art/stories.

np, i just mentioned it, i don't have to read the blogs exactly...and i appriciate you telling us, even if i would have thought of you as a little childish if you scrapped the story because of something like that

773534 I first began writing TQP over a year ago (just after S1 finished), so canon has long since wrecked its accuracy. I'm not going to stop working on it because canon doesn't directly tie into it. lol I do try to accommodate some of the newer ideas and events, though not a whole lot cause I don't want to bend over backwards for it.
Well at least I am not the only one looking forward to Alicorn Twilight. I won'[t lie I have been hoping they did this. It all fit even when they first used the elements. A tiara? really seems to be pointing somewhere.
