Why are so many people butthurt about alicorn Twilight? · 10:05pm Feb 16th, 2013
Hell, it's the central plot of half the fics on this site. Guess that just made me used to it.

I, personally, am not butthurt about Acorn Twilight.
I am butthurt over the fact that this episode really should've been 2 parts. But there's nothing I can do about it so *shrug*
For the butthurts or not, here's something
Sad but true.
We are born to die and I'm happy about it.
The episode probably would have been better if they had made it a two-part one, but it was beautiful nonetheless. I loved all the songs!
Just finished Episode.
Who's to say we havent seen it coming, considering (out of the entirety of the Series) Twilight has:
Solved 90% of the problems Either With or Without the elements of Harmony
Learning the Magic of Friendship
(To go back Further)
Season 2 Opening: Celestia and Luna Talking about some Secret Test, which was a Reference to Ponydom of Old, the Crystal Ponies and King Sombra
Babysitted by an Alicorn, Cadence
and Was Chosen to be Celestia's Personal Student?
NOPE. TOTALLY NOT GONNA BECOME AN ALICORN.
Well one of the writers tweeted that this episode is basically a three part series joined to the first two episodes of season 4. I'm just mad that I will have to wait so long to see how it ends.
It's one thing to fantasize about Twilight being Celestia's daughter. (or something like that) Quite another to fix a characters flaws so she can grow wings.
My beef is that Hasbro just did it to sell more toys. Ever since the first season Hasbro's marketing has been controlling what goes on in the show. If there was a good reason for Twilight to become an alicorn, then fine. (It started with Blueblood, and then Cadence)
Since you've come to Ponyville, you've displayed the charity, compassion, devotion, integrity, optimism, and of course, the leadership of a true princess.
What happened to the dorky, sarcastic pony we all know? You know, the one prone to panic attacks when things don't go as planned?
