Guys I have made a horrible mistake in writing How It Works. I recently attempted to submit How It Works to Equestria Daily, but it was denied due to grammatical errors and lack of character development (watchya gonna do?) but there was something else brought to my attention as they reviewed the story: The story seems to portray a rape-like situation and makes light of it. This is NEVER what I intended for How It Works to be, nor do I ever want any of you to think that this is what the story is about. I will be rewriting the prologue (again) and possibly the first three chapters as well, to both better explain the situation that Twilight and Flim got into, as well as try and improve upon the grammatical and character issues.
Overall I just want you guys to know, that what Twilight and Flim had that night, was not a rape experience, he didn't take advantage of her being drunk, he was equally drunk, and it was a one night stand based on an undiscovered mutual attraction between the two of them. Please forgive me for this mistake, and I hope you will reread the first few chapters as I update them once more, I will keep you posted on the progress, and while not much will change, it should give a deeper and clarified view into what happened, and also the emotions of the two. Hopefully I will also add in another chapter before chapter 4 discussing Twilight during her weeks before the events in chapter 4
Um, I'll be honest. I didn't get that feeling at all. I figured they had sloppy makeouts and that was it. I didn't for a second think Twi was actually pregnant.
So for me I never thought that she might've been raped...
1029057 Wha? Who said she was pregnant!? *shifty glances* Well I'm glad you didn't get that feeling at least, I think they might have been just a bit critical of the submission....
1029103 It's all subjective anyways. I honestly feel the pre-reader was jumping to conclusions. If you had stated she got knocked up and still treated it so blase then I could see their point. Since you never explicitly state that though, they're making assumptions and judging you somewhat unfairly.
That's all my opinion though

EQD is crap with stories. Don't trust them with stories; trust them with other stuff, but stories; no.
I never got the feeling it was rape. Both were drunk, heck Flim was even confused on what happened that night.
