New story on the way! Rejoice! Also, delays.

So I seem to recall somewhere I was saying that I was trying to get back to a regular posting schedule. Well, sorry peeps, but my plans got a little skewed. Long story short, I spent about a month planning to attend my best friend's wedding to be uninvited at the last moment, and now there's some dispute going on about my housing that leaves me looking for a new place and moving out within the next month. Due to that, academic pursuits, and obviously needing to make some extra money, my posting schedule may take a bit of a hit for the team.

That said, I was going to release my new story today. It's been in the works for a while and I've been saving it so it didn't have to go up during the Pokemon In Equestria craze. It's mostly done, but it requires a couple last look-overs and touch-ups before I'm confident in sharing it with you guys. That should be done sometime through the middle to beginning of next week. I'm still trying to get Haberdasher's next chapter out by next Thursday, as per my every-other-week schedule, but I've fallen a bit behind due to recent events, and the next chapter is actually the last one I have written (and about half of the one after it). So depending on how well that goes when I have free time to spare, Haberdasher might be slowed down for a while.

I didn't want to leave you guys empty handed this week though, and so instead I thought I'd drop a bit of a teaser. Without further ado, I reveal to you my secondary project—Poképony: Element Quest.

The story takes place in an AU situated more or less in a Pokémon version of Equestria. It follows Pinkie Pie and co. on their Pokémon Journey, each of them setting out with different ideas and goals in mind. Naturally, however, that's not all there is to it. Although the story focuses on the three fledgling trainers, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, and Fluttershy, all of their friends and many other characters we know and love from the show have their part to play. As with any AU there are a couple of twists thrown in to make the universe more than skin deep. One of the key differences is that in this world most ponies get their cutie marks, and learn their special talent, through their Pokémon Journey and interacting with or learning from Pokémon.

Each chapter rings in around 5k words, and it's looking like it could be quite a long journey. I'm so super extra nervicited to get the ball rolling, but I'd like to get the chance to screen it properly and make sure things are up to snuff before I post, and unfortunately I just don't really have the time for it at this exact moment.

So I hope that gets everyone else excited and again, I apologize for not having it ready and posted this week.
