    I tried writing something...

... and I did art instead. Sorry to all of you that have computers that run browsers... I probably kept these a little too big.

I think this is Luna... not sure.

    This is probably Cadance Celestia.

    I Arted

So, I am trying my hand (or mouse) at vector art. Right now just tracing and getting used to the software.

Done from this one by Joey-Darkmeat.

    Because I was Blocked

This is what failed to get sent. It all started because of a stupid grammar correction gone TOO FAR!

    Christmas Stuff.

So I have seen some people putting Santa hats on their avatars and I felt I might as well. I just kinda got on a little bit of a roll...

The one I am using. Didn't see the point in making it huge.

One with holly, I feel I should change it.

I Knew the Media was Dumb

But this is over the top. I don't live in Oakland, but I am in California and closer to Oakland than more. The news channel somehow got these names, called the NTSB and an intern there confirmed the names. Probably thought the news channel was a prank caller.

“I was so excited to see Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3! Also Destiny looks so much fun! I need a PS4 now!!” ~ Luna

I really have to agree with Luna here. The PS4 looks ready to destroy the XBOX One, and Destiny looks like it combines Borderlands and Halo, two of my favorite franchises. As well as "The Division", I think I just love collecting loot.

I just sit behind my pc and laugh at the conflict.

1137401
True, true. I do as well, but I have my roots in console gaming and I still sometimes like movement with joysticks over WASD (if only I could have a joystick for movement and a mouse for aiming).

There have been games that I have enjoyed that I doubt will be seen on a PC and I still feel they are worth playing, even more so since I can buy them used for half price or lower. That way I get to support a local business (I don't go through GameStop) and get a game I will probably log hours on.

zel

1137412 Buying console for few exclusive titles is not worth it, imho.

I never really played on any console in my life.

1137422
I usually wait a year or so for prices to drop and get a console used. I like when they go out of warranty so I don't feel bad opening them up and looking at all the little parts, cleaning things up, and maybe replacing the thermal paste so they run cooler. Right now I am looking at ways to paint an XBOX 360 case and make acrylic etchings.

zel

1137429 I was thinking about buying modified xbox, but meh... getting games to work is too much hassle, and I am not the one to obediently go to shop and buy games.

1137430
I pass by a used music store that sells games as well ever so often so I make a stop to check out the selection and see if there is anything good. It has only been in the past 3 years that I have slowly moved to PC gaming, and only recently have I been heavy into it. The biggest restriction was internet speeds. I grew up in rural America and the internet speeds barely beat dial-up.

zel

1137433 Torrents are superior. I buy a game from time to time on Steam if it is on sale, though.

I grew up in rural America

Stop complaining, I grew up in European village.

1137436
I always feel a little bad when I torrent something, unless it is from EA, I have a dislike for EA business practice. But I do like those Steam sales, my game library has doubled just in the past year.

I don't see how a European village is worse than rural America, you guys are all so close together. I live in California, the state is 423,970 square kilometers, Poland is 312,728 square kilometers. Running cables from small town to small town is more economically feasible than running a cable out of a house that is 2 kilometers away from anything.

zel

1137443 Well, you guys have more money. We can barely afford good roads, having internet down there is just silly.

1137453
Right now we have imaginary money. Our leaders have no idea how to balance a budget and we are sinking ever lower into dept.

Though, speaking of conditions. How are you handling all that flooding over there?

zel

1137459 My village was completely cut off from the rest of world (travel-wise), and I was unable to come back to city for exams at my uni. It was an... interesting experience.

1137461
How far are you from the city? How deep was the water over the roads? Being in the Californian basin, I have had to deal with flooding in the past but nothing that couldn't be routed around.

zel

1137466 The closest bigger city is... 40 km away?
Also, the water was not deep, but there were some areas that were simply not possible to drive through with regular car.

I live in south-afrika its great here there is little to no flooding and the weather is great the economy is of wory but does not effect you if your well traind in your job.(Is not that hard when you look at the training of those around you.[I am not being racest{much}])Internet is easy and not hard to get lots of cheap ADSL.
And the XBOX ONE will not beat the PS4,microsoft has been to greedy.

1137486
A 40 km drive isn't that bad; least by American standards.
Was the water standing or flowing? 25 cm of flowing water could easily sweep a car away.

1137587
It's usually not to difficult to hold a job if you work better than your peers. Though if I remember right, in South Africa you pay for internet by the gigabyte; in America it is a monthly subscription.

I really want Microsoft to hurt because of their choices with the XBOX One. They seemed to have alienated their core gamer base to make a couple bucks. The Kinect is a neat idea, but I feel they are taking it too far by needing to have it always connected.

zel

1137723 Still water; the terrain tends to be rather flat.
And yes, for american standards, 40km is not really that much.

1137723 No here we also pay mounth to mouth or a 12-24mouth contract you can however do a pay per GIG or just get capped.
And I am a hardcore PC gamer id like to get a PS4 but I dont have a TV.

1137739
Flat terrain, that sounds so boring. Though I grew up in the foothills so enjoy slopes, as well as skiing/snowboarding.

1137863
I have two monitors, one of which doubles as a TV for my PS2 and 360 (when it's working), though I must admit that PC gaming has taken up far more of my free time that consoles.

zel

1137898 I dislike skiing. Mainly because I am so extremely lazy.

1137898Just need to point out I do use my PC as a TV mostly for news and well the resone im here.

1137902
Oh that is no fun at all, though I guess it goes back to how we grew up. I was always active, I can barely stand walking from place to place.

1137923
The reason your here is to talk about game systems and whatever I have relied to? (Everyone knows ponies aren't a reason, they are a lifestyle.)

zel

1137933 Well, I never had any friends or anything like that, so I was pretty stationary... :trollestia:
