Dear readers, fans, friends, and the randoms who've happened by this post....it is with a heavy heart and soul that I bring something of small, but perhaps significant importance to the many awesome folks who suffer through my humdrum stories, and weather my ridiculous waiting times between updates. You see soon enough I'll be entering the 22nd year of my life, and with that comes the realization of something that's been nagging at the edges of my mind. Many things have occurred since we've started this crazy little journey together, I wrote some off beat but interesting one-shots, you liked and commented. I took a crack at an actual fanfic, and you fine fellows gave me a thumbs up, it's been a wonderful run but something has occurred.
Excuse me for the cracking of my voice this is just gettin pretty darn emotional, and I fear I might lose my ability to shear this heart-stopping news with you.
I advise those that possess weak constitutions, are easily stressed, prone to flipping tables while screaming 'OMG!' and anyone suffering from Fluttershy syndrome to step out...don't worry we'll share this emotional and sudden news with you as gently as we can at a later date.
The thing is....

In a week and a half's time there will be....updates!
That's right I said UPDATES!

I'm crazy GiantMako and I'm so darn crazy I'm practically giving you these UPDATES for for nothing at all.

Right when you thought it was safe...right when you truly believed the horror was over....she has returned! From the grave....impatient for her own UPDATE and ready to resume her tag-team role alongside Mancho Drake Spike the Dragon, Octavia Hit-mare Highnote is attacking the ring and dares you to witness the continuation of her 'ship-fic that could'. And all of this can be yours to see for an easy payment of NOTHING! Make sure to watch both climatic bouts at the FIMFICTION-Dome via your computer, laptop, cool cell phone that can do interwebs well, or magic all seeing Pinkie Pie product crystal ball.
The question is can Mako do it? Can he deliver the goods? Was nearly 7 months enough time to get his short attention span reigned in enough to pay the readers, and fans what they've been craving? We've actually tracked down the shark-surfing, suave-winking, and delightfully charming GiantMako for an interview as well as get his opinion on our update challenge.
"So GiantMako is it true you plan on updating by June 26th?"
"Er..Well that's the plan."
"What is your opinion on this update challenge that we've signed you up for?"
"I'm firing my P.R. guy as we speak if that answers that particular question."
"How do you feel about Equestrian Girls?"
".....Spike's a dog....how do you think I feel?"
"That bad eh?"
"Perhaps we should change the subject."
"There are rumors that there is a few other fics that you've been working on. Any comments?"
"These rumors would be true, though I've decided to push them back until my current fanfics have at least gotten two updates apiece."
"Can you give the readers any hints?"
"Applebloom."
"Applebloom?"
"I've already said too much."
"Well that's all the time we have so hopefully we've satisfied a few readers, and will be hearing from you on the date of awesome."
"I hope so as well, though I do have a question to me readers if you don't mind me using you as a medium."
"Please Mr. Mako go ahead."
"Does anyone have any idea how to navigate through this site? I don't want to complain because I know the admins are working hard 24/7 but I can't find Spike fics to save my life. There used to be that workable search engine where I'd type 'Spike' and everything with that word in the title or summary would pop up, then I could jump to advanced search and click what characters I'm looking for specifically as well as categorize by update date and stuff. Chances are I'm just Derp and I is bad at introwebs, but I'll take any advice anyone's willing to give."

The day begins with me searching for more Spike fics but alas, there are few I haven't already read. Then I stumble upon a story by GiantMako and takes a minute to look at his user page.
But, what is this?! A new journal entry? Today?! Promises of updates!?
