Lucky Clover group? And an Awesome Teaser to a Hopefully Awesome Sequel · 9:09pm Jul 12th, 2013
First off, let me say that I am pumped up because after I got off of work a friend of mine shared this video with me.
Now if you have followed me for a while, you know that I am a massive How To Train Your Dragon fan, so this teaser really got my amped up.
Unfortunately, I have to wait until next summer for this beauty of a film to be released.
And, even more unfortunately, Interstellar (the next Christopher Nolan movie) comes out next year so that means if both John Powell's score for this sequel and Hans Zimmer's score for Interstellar are as awesome as I expect them to be and they are both nominated for an Oscar I will be torn much as I was back in 2010 when Powell's HTTYD score went up against Zimmer's score for "Inception".
Of course both lost to "The Social Network" *** cough *** bullsh-t ***cough*** but it was still a tough decision.
But, in the end, I am really looking forward to both movies and, though this teaser didn't give anything away that is indicative of the plot it was still mighty impressive. Happy to see the visuals, animation and music are all back with gusto.
Plus now all of the girl fans are fan-girling over the new, older look for Hiccup haha (read the comments for the video to see this).
Anyways, that is that. Back to relevancy to this site. I am thinking about creating a group for Lucky Clover if enough people show interest, and I will most likely be writing more stories centered on him in the future. Right now I am working on the next chapter of MBtS as well as a story that was originally going to be a one-shot but now will be a short romance story made up of a few chapters. Hopefully I can keep working on it since it stars some more background ponies- two that are very popular and one that is slightly underrated- and I love giving my own twist and take on their character. It will center on Noteworthy, Vinyl Scratch and Octavia, and it takes place roughly at the time Lucky Clover goes to Canterlot (hence why Noteworthy is there- he is a guest choir member for the Canterlot Philharmonic for their Summer Sun Celebration performance). But it may be a while since I am juggling quite a bit (and I work a few more weeks). Also, unlike my previous stories, this one I plan to write out in its entirety before posting it chapter by chapter.
