Hello, FimFic World!
Trying out the blogging tool, which looks pretty slick, I must say (at least to someone who doesn't blog regularly). :)
More importantly though, I just wanted to say Thank You.
Thank you first for the warm welcome here. I literally stumbled my way in here from an EQD post regarding pre-orders for Twilight's List hardcovers. I had never heard of MLP fan fiction, or fan fiction in general, outside of the obvious Star Wars/Trek world. Despite being a huge noob, this community has been very open and welcoming.
Thank you also to the folks that have taken the time to read, comment, and in some cases favorite my inaugural story, A Matter of Perspective. I have never written fiction items before, but I thought the Abandoned Fic challenge might be a good "fixed challenge" to work with. I barely made it in time, and definitely left some good ideas on the field, but the feedback and encouragement I've received has been wonderful. I do really appreciate the criticisms, as they too have been paired with great ideas and ways to improve.
I'm really enjoying my stay here so far, and I hope I can yank a few more stories out of my head over time! :D
