Hello FimFiction and followers,
As you all are probably aware due to the story dominating the feature box, Fallout:Equestria, the Fallout 3 crossover by Kkat, is finally on FimFiction! Yes, that's right, arguably the largest fan-fiction in the entire fandom is now on this site! It's the biggest inclusion oversight to be corrected since the Beatles were finally put onto iTunes.
So anyway, to celebrate this momentous occasion, Prince Solstice and I are doing a riff of this story. If you don't know what a riff is, it's when people talk over a story and make it funny. If you've ever seen Mystery Science Theater 3,000 or Retsupurae, it's just like that except with fan-fiction. And yes, we plan on doing it for all 600,000 words of this gargantuan fan-fiction.
"But Carts, FO:E is a good fic, and Mystery Science Theater only do bad ones!" Yeah, I know, and to that, I say, anything is riffable, even good stories! Look at Rifftrax, for instance. (Done by the same guys who did MST3K and riffs such classics as Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Not the new weird one with Johnny Depp but the classic 70's one with Gene Wilder that they dropped too much acid before filming.)
You know what the best part is? WE HAVE PERMISSION FROM KKAT, and she actually thinks our riff thus far is funny! I know, right? I literally could not believe it. Like, I woulda riffed it anyway, but having permission from the author herself is pretty cool. Having the author enjoy the riff is even cooler.
So, the riff is now posted to both Google docs and my FimFiction account. Unfortunately, there's a rule on the site against publishing MST style fics, so my story is unpublished on FimFic. You can still find it with the link, though, so here it is.
And yes, we plan on riffing the whole thing. We also plan on posting each chapter in roughly the same timeframe as Kkat puts FO:E onto FimFiction. So sit back and enjoy!

I still haven't read the original FO:E, but I'll get to it! (Eventually)
