Wow, I'm just pumping out blogs today...
Anyhow. I have a question:
Do you want to see Romance in Banished?
I'll post two comments below, one with YES and one with NO. Thumb as you please, or give a comment of your own describing your reasons for either answer.
To be honest, I'm interested in doing it myself, but it was not intended when I began this fic. It'll have repercussions, sure, but it won't affect the main storyline all that much. The ending will still be the same, and nothing will happen in regards to the romance for a good few chapters anyhow. Gotta let them feelin's grow if there are any to be had.
Now, you might wonder how the main storyline could possibly avoid being affected by romantic affiliations between the cast. That's for me to know, and for you to find out. It won't be the main focus of the story, a big part sure, but the main focus remains unaltered and the story will progress as I have planned no matter what.
Finally, whether or not there will actually be romance won't be decided entirely by what you answer here. It will only help me tip the scale in either direction. It would be a fun experiment, and who is to say whether or not it would even work out even if they were to go for it? (I am, but hey)

That's what comes to mind when I think "romance" and look at the cover art. Though I've only read two chapters so far so for a yes or no I give a shoulder shrug.

I know, and the chapter is almost finished. I just haven't had much energy left over after work these days, and being roped into being DM for the first time doesn't help either. Who'd thought that running a D&D game was so much work. Still fun though.
I have Banished open in a tab and work on it whenever I have time and energy. I'm aiming for a longer chapter than usual, so at least I hope it'll be worth the wait.
