I just spent yesterday in a mildly indifferent state of surprise, driving myself mad watching in horrific fascination as the little red numbers on the top of the page ticked by like a stopwatch. It's almost like watching yourself explode in slow motion from a detached out of body state. My eyes kept darting to the larger-than-it-needs-to-be "Revoke Submission" button; a voice whispered "You can end it all now. Walk away and pretend it never happened. Just click it... Click it..." That little golden orb is so enticing with its soft highlights and the feeling of reader expectations weighing down like a kennel full of little puppies looking on with big round eyes, waiting for you to throw the tennis ball again, one more time, again, and again...
On that note, thanks everyone! I'm glad you all liked it and I'll do my best to keep at updating this fic often. I'll have a new chapter up in the next day or so and try to wrap up the current story before switching to more episodic chapters. You're all awesome though. I'm just happy so many people like this approach to pony/human stories.
I'm mostly making this blog post because my last one is months old and people are now replying to it, and also to clarify a few things that keep coming up. I made that post before submitting a different story. It was rejected for very understandable reasons of not being tied well enough to the FiM canon, so no hard feelings there, but the work needed to make it fit well enough in a way I'd be happy with was a bit much and killed my interest in continuing with the thing. So to all the "Wow, first fic and you hit the feature box?" comments, sorry to ruin the magic. Also, I learned a lot of my "how not to write fanfiction" lessons years ago in the Harry Potter fandom... *shudder*

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I didn't draw it myself because I can draw well enough on my own and usually would, but Pillow Case the character was actually based around that picture (again, sorry to spoil the magic). It was a random thread on /mlp/ a year ago where people were sharing art of ponies in clothes and someone posted that. She was so freakin' adorable that we ended up making stuff up about her, like her name, and the idea that she was obsessed with human clothes as much as Lyra is with hands. Then that moved on to, "well then, she'd rather live on earth with humans so she'd have an excuse to wear human clothes all the time." Then we got to talking about using her to make a reverse of the AiE (Anon in Equestria) threads on /mlp/, where ponies instead moved to earth. I thought it would be fantastic to write about humans from a pony's point of view and promised to write a story to kick off such a thread. So I wrote "She Likes Cloth". I tried too hard to go the more 'traditional' AiE route by writing it in greentext instead of prose, and found out I really, really suck at that. Which is part of why I wanted to rewrite this like I did. I also figured it would motivate me to write even more later.
Well anyway that thread did kick off a new General on /mlp/, though slowly. It goes by the name of PiE, even if that isn't proper grammar. It's just more fun than PoE. It's simply more pony! Then my other story was rejected from Fimfiction and I sort of lost interest in writing for a while, practically abandoning the PiE threads just as they were struggling to get along. Well almost a year later I feel a little guilty so I'm going to try to jump back into the writing scene again and do it right this time.

Strangely I've only ever drawn Pillow once myself and planned on using this if I couldn't get permission to use the other. Wow that picture hasn't aged well. I need to draw some more. A number of other artists have also drawn drawn her and there might be a few to find on Derpibooru. I'll see if more can be added there later. She became a mascot for the PiE group on /mlp/ and there are at least a lot of title images with her.
That's all, let's hope I never write another rambling nonsense blogpost like this again! So thanks for the love! I promise not to use it to feed my changeling army and take over the ponynet! Not until I write a few more chapters about PC at least.

It's funny I felt the exact same when my first story got fave'd. I was like "Oh jeez it needs to be edited now and I need to keep updating it because so many people are watching!"
What was your other story? I mean, I've seen some stories on here that practically throws canon out the window. Don't get how they could deny a story based on the story.

It was long enough ago that they might not be as strict on the rule as they were then, but denying canon isn't the same as not being connected to the universe. It was a story about 1/10 the world suddenly turning into ponies. There was no obvious reference or connection to the FiM universe and wouldn't be for a a number of chapters. I had also lost interest in the story and didn't feel like writing that much more just to publish it.
