That one day when Bradbury told me to go fuck myself. · 7:40am Sep 23rd, 2013

Don’t talk about it; write.
-Ray Bradbury, The Writer’s Digest
This quote. This quote made me take notice of one thing I've been doing lately way more than anyone should.
Lately, I'm only talking about writing.
And trying to build hype, but not actually working beyond planning and taking notes and ideas which just keep piling up rather than flourishing into stories.
But the thing is that, when I'm a completely new author and I've been talking about these awesome ideas of mine for about 5 godforsaken months, that's just useless.
Annoying even.
When I joined this place I only planned a couple of fics that would've been on the verge of trolling, but then a renewed interest on writing made me rethink it and to actually come up with decent ideas.
All I intended to do was to write some crap for fun, however, I over-whelmed myself like an idiot.
I do intend to stop fucking around so much and actually start working on this.
Ten full stories and about eight oneshots, all with different styles won't write themselves, after all.
Before I end this one blog, I'm not really asking for any sympathy; berate me for being an idiot if you must even.
All I need is a hand to get this shit done.
And if you, totallynotabrony, Willow and Beauzoe, read this, please know that I still want to write these things.
I don't even care about getting the credit myself or having a cool record of likes and dislikes or a name here, I only want these stories on words for others to read and, maybe, enjoy.
I'll add the ideas I have on a Gdoc later on in this blog, if anyone is interested on helping me with any of those.
If anyone else is willing to give me any advice on how to handle this bulk of stories especially handling this on a schedule or even help me as editors, please comment.
I'm getting really sick of myself.
You don't have to, obviously, but any help will be rewarded with what most strangers with a common interest can give other strangers over the internet: nothing.
Oh, and sincere gratitude. Yeah.
Anyways.
See you later, guys, and sorry for being a bother.
I'd lend a hand if needed but I'm not much of a proof reader and in a similar position to be honest. A while back, before it became more common I had a good idea for a 'Twilight becomes a Changeling' fic but now? The idea is far too common and the premiss too generic for it to ever get any real recognition.
Could have gotten popular with it too. Life's a bitch sometimes.

You know, even if I had every single one of my ideas already done, it'd be very unlikely to make me any popular at all.
It's like most of my ideas only go against established fanon to throw people off, like Zerg-like changelings or happy Octavia and grumpy Vinyl, or brain-damaged astronaut Derpy.
Well, as long as I make AU Pinkie into poni Lobo and AU Dash into poni Aragorn it might be alright.
1375287 To be honest the only one on that list I'd hesitate to look at is the Zerg like Changelings but even then, if they're not just the generic irredeemable villains I could probably learn to like it. Considering how the Zerg have turned out in The Heart of the Swarm I even want to see it pulled off well but there have been numerous disappointments...
One thing I personally can't stand is the use of 'inherently evil' or 'destined to be villains' sort of characters.
I'm also not familiar with this Lobo but I think I can picture a more mature RD as Aragorn.
