More inspiration!! · 3:12am Apr 15th, 2012
So I was just daydreaming about a week or so ago (can't ever remember where I was, but whatever) and I came across another idea for a fanfiction. It came in the form of watching the winding up scene unfold before my mind. I was like, "Whoa! This is intense." But I immediately had questions concerning the setting, characters present, what happened, and why it felt so emotional. Sooooo.....I decided to start building a fic all around that intense final moment. Once that didn't work so well, I tried building it from the foundations up, and it turned out that I am going to need that intense scene anyway! Woot!
So currently I'm building up the entire story board in my head, while I am beginning to type out the first chapter. I am NOT planning on publishing anything until I've had a prereader go through my stuff, and I would like to be at least to chapter 5 before I can truthfully tell myself that this is a good idea. Maybe I'm nervous about me being a fanfiction writer for the first time, or maybe I'm scared of how the story will end up being recieved. I don't wanna end up like those other fanfics we see on the recently published list, and have readers be like, "Wow, this is just mediocre at best. NEXT!"
But I will move forward with this. I am going to work really hard at this so this story idea doesn't go to waste. I already have high hopes for it, and the possibilities that it brings up. I look forward to the day I publish the first chapter. My hopes is that people will be commenting all over the place saying the usual stuff when a reader likes a fic they just read. For example:
- MOOOOARRRR!! 
- Dis gonna be gud!
- applause.gif
- Instant liked and faved! Keep it up author!
...*sigh*. Until then, back to writing an awesome story!
[Why Jackal is blogging to himself I can't seem to figure out. Nopony is following him yet. All he's done here is read awesome fics produced here and make a variety of comments. Don't mind him though, I think he's just gotta get it out of him by typing it all out, you know?]
