Season 2 is over; it's bittersweet, really. The wedding was a fitting ending, but felt more like a season 3 kickoff than the end of season 2.
However, the fact that Cadence wasn't Cadence wasn't that much of a shock to me - not that I think they ever intended for it to be, for anyone...
My own speculations go only slightly farther than Twilight's observations about pseudo-Cadence's attitude. Nopony seemed to notice
that Cadence's magic was green, instead of the purple from Twilight's flashback. And also, at the end. It was blue, too?
I always liked to think that the magic was linked to their eye color, with the exception of a few. It was something of an 'unspoken rule' that was held up, with or without knowledge, since the beginning of the series. Ah well, back to the scientific drawing board.
Overall, I liked it. Yay!
