Hearth's Warming greetings from the Grid!

Hello to the faithful followers of PONY Legacy! There are -- shockingly -- over four hundred of you, and I'd like to take a quick moment to thank you all for taking the time to read, fave, and even comment.

I'm celebrating the newly-working blog tagging system by checking in with all of you. I've blogged updates on the story over the last year or two, but most of you haven't seen them, so now's my chance!

PONY Legacy is currently on hiatus, and has been for months. This is in large part due to my work with the Vault, which has come to an end, freeing up a little time that I'm using to work on stories and other projects. I have roughly 3,000 words written of the next Legacy chapter, as well as a few thousand here and there from later parts of the story.

I'm going to do my best to get the next chapter up by the end of the year. I don't know how regularly I'll updating after that, but I do want to assure everyone that the story isn't dead by any stretch of the imagination. I have everything outlined and I'm as excited about the story as I was three years ago when I first started working on it; I simply need to make the time to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and get the story down.

I'm also in the middle of a much shorter holiday/family-themed one-shot in the same vein stylistically as Old Friends, so if you enjoyed OF or like sentimental reminiscings, keep an eye out for that in the next week or two.
