Update #27 · 4:43am Dec 6th, 2013
I've decided to start working on the next chapter. The important part of the previous chapter is that it was grating at times, and I believe I can alleviate that a bit by tweaking the dialog and reactions. However, the overall ideas that are important to the next chapter are there, which means there's nothing preventing me from writing what's next.
My plan is to re-release Residue Prance-essing with the release of the next chapter. Again, future chapters will not be nearly as "Pinkie Pie centric", so even if you can't stand Pinkie Pie as a character, future chapters won't be as saturated with her "over-the-top super-hyper antics". That said, I wouldn't expect the changes to Residue Prance-essing to be overly substantial, so if you've already read through it, it probably won't add much to read through it again. Those that found it too tough to get through the first time, however, should find it (hopefully) a bit easier to read the second time around.
For the record, I liked it as was. I know it's a bit late to say so, but... I liked it. Spike's death, tho? That one was a kick in the balls.

Well, I'm glad you liked it. I wouldn't worry too much about it being different. She'll still be the same ol' Pinkie Pie. I'm just going to emphasize more of her better qualities, and make her actions more understandable and relatable. The character, as I've written her, is not going to change.
