Merry Christmas, everyone! I am about halfway finished with a new Christmas-themed chapter of My British Pony: Stereotypes Are Magic which will go up on Christmas day sometime. It's a parody of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and the Hearths' Warming Eve episode, and should hopefully be pretty funny.
A few people commented that relying solely on British stereotypes for my humo(u)r was getting a bit old and was too predictable. Though there are and always have been other types of jokes in the story, I'll admit that I was relying a bit too much on stereotypes and not enough on other types of humor. So in my new chapter, there will still be plenty of British stereotypes, (since it wouldnt' be "Stereotypes are Magic" without them!) but I'll also make a concerted effort to include more situational comedy, shenanigans, sarcasm, and snarkiness than I have before.
In other news, for my more regular followers, I've been working at my new job for the past few weeks, so I'm glad I have a couple days off. For those of you who follow it, I'm also working on new chapters of Brother Against Sister. I have about two of them done, so I should be able to resume my regular update schedule around Monday. I'll try to stick to updating it every monday, but no guarantees.
I'll also try to update The Ponion some.
