Quick update · 12:44am Jan 18th, 2014
So, my fanciful readers might be wondering what I've been up to. Short answer: stuff.
Slightly longer answer: New job. Nothing super amazing or anything, but it's something. Finances are still going to be very tight for a while, but I should be able to scrape by for now. Naturally, with a new job comes a new schedule. Most of my shifts are considerably earlier than anything I've had before, so my rhythm's been pretty wonky as I try to adjust to these new shifts. Once I manage to get settled into a better routine than I have been, working in time for writing will be a less difficult task. No loss of ideas or motivation to write, so no need to worry there. A few other things have managed to cannibalize my tentative free time recently; the least of which wound up with me being surprisingly dragged into setting up and running a tabletop(online) game again. It has proven to be an unexpected, but still enjoyable workload that will need to find its own spot in my schedule once the campaign's ground work is finished. Ideally, once the game actually gets rolling, it shouldn't be too much of a drain on my writing time. But that's a bridge to cross once I get there.
