OKAY So, being barely awake at my internal clock's version of two in the morning really isn't the best time or state of mind to be announcing this, and I know I won't really give this announcement the proper solemnity it deserves, but since I'm bad with all the formalities anyway I'll just cut to the chase.
I haven't written anything at all since my latest chapter in "I Ran My Car Into Twilight's House...". I've tried to set some time aside to think and write and things, but I keep failing, and honestly, my heart isn't all that much into it anymore. I still love to write, but I can't focus on any of my fanfics for more than a few minutes, and unlike most of my other planned stories, I have NO idea where I'm going with any of these...
So basically, in an attempt to save time, I'm uh... Shutting down all my fanfic writing, like, til further notice, and probably for forever, while I attempt to actually get a schedule going for consistent writing, and work on some of my own original stories I've had in my head for forever.
Maybe, if I really feel the desire to work on these fanfics pulling me back, and if I've actually managed to form the habit of writing consistently, then I'll revive them again, but I don't think I will, despite the few things I had planned for all of my stories (and a few others I never actually published because I couldn't get the first chapter finished). I just, I can't write fast enough, or consistently enough at the moment, to really make any of these dang things. It'd likely take another four years to finish any of my stories at the rate I'm going, and that's assuming I begin to IMPROVE at some point, so, for the sake of my sanity, and so I don't waste any more of your time, I'm going to shut these things down. I won't take them off the site, but I'll change them from incomplete to canceled, and we'll see where we go from there.
That said, naturally I'll still be on this site reading fanfics, at least until I finish all the stories I'm reading right now, then I'll likely just go back to my own original writing and book reading...
Thank you for putting up with me as long as you have, I dunno how you managed to do it, heh, and honestly you guys have been AMAZING in just the comments and number of views here and everything. I try to write with the goal of telling a good story, and being able to entertain someone, so it was nice to be able to (hopefully) get some laughs out of you all, sorry I couldn't get some more out of ya.
I think that's it. If ya wanna talk I'll still be lurking around, but for now I'm going to go to sleep, then work, then freak out about all the books I ordered for college not arriving til after I've failed the first three weeks of assignments. O_O

Whelp, it was a good run.
For reference, I usually update once a month, maybe twice. I work on at least seven fics at once. And I haven't really planned any of them at all. Add a family, a budding blog, and uni, and I'm glad to write at all, whether on my original IPs or fan fics.
Write what you want to when you need to. Otherwise, it's not going to be enjoyable.
I feel your pain. I have several projects I'm working on, usually adding to each one as inspiration strikes -- but I don't get much time to add to them. I am sorry to hear about the cancellation, but hope you can find inspiration through the works of others. If so, I look forward to additions to "I Ran My Car into Twilight's House." That's one of my favorites of yours.
PS, hope to see future updates to that one.
