So I realise I haven't written one of these blog-type things on my profile yet, and what better way to start than exactly a year after watching the first episode of the show? And what a year it's been. I don't think I've ever truly invested myself in a fandom like this one, and it's been worth every second of reading fanfics, listening to all the wonderful remixes and original music, looking up artwork, and of course, watching the show. Am I ever glad I decided to click on that link to Friendship Is Magic, Part 1 this time last year. To every member of the brony community, and the all of the talented people who make the show, thank you for making this journey one of the oddest, yet most enjoyable, things I've ever leaped into.
So, 52 episodes, 4 fanfics, 2 plushies, a meetup and a February Write-Off later, here I am. I hope this year will be even better than the last!
Also, as for those of you waiting on the next installment of Deus Ex: Equine Revolution: I am truly sorry for making you wait. Chapter 3 has turned into quite a slog, and with exams looming in a month's time, frantic revision is messing with my schedules at the minute. However, please rest assured I will be getting the next installment of our augmented hero out as soon as I can.
