Minecrafters needed! · 1:00am Mar 2nd, 2014
Howdy y'all.
Just a quick shout out to all my followers out there. If any of you play Minecraft and want to be part of a charity event, I have just the thing for you. I'm part of a group called the Army of Toy Soldiers, a worldwide organisation dedicated to the promotion of creativity and fun, with a few hints and rumours of plans for world domination, but those are just rumours... I think...
Anyways, one of our soldiers is hosting a 48-hour Minecraft charity event, where we are building the Toy Soldiers official Digital Bunker on a dedicated server. It's already well-underway, with a vast bunker built into a mountain, with barracks, arenas, theatres, labs, observation rooms, and rooms filled with chickens just for the sake of it.
Anyways, it is an open event, free entry for anyone who wants to join in making this the coolest mountain bunker in the history of mountain bunkers. And as for the charity bit, we're raising funds to donate to Childs Play, a charity that provides hospitalised children with means of entertainment to make their stays a little more comfortable. So far e've raised about $500, but we're aiming for a grand if possible.
The event goes on until 19.00PM GMT on Sunday 3rd March.
The server IP is 198.23.130.203 (Minecraft version: 1.6.4)
The livestream can be found here: http://www.toysoldiersunite.com/server-page/

So if you feel like dropping in and helping the cause, please feel free. Just tell them Mike Mcnanner sent you.
Hope to see some of you in there!!!
I noticed that nopony commented on this, and unfortunately, I see that it is long over for the date. I hope that this was built very well and that it becomes super successful :)
I became a minecrafter earlier this year and I have already begun creating giant working pianos, some outstanding houses, and am starting to learn traps and some custom stuff. My best creations was a working piano (accurate, pedels and all), a "working" tank using a tnt cannon setup, and some other cool things in between. I do take requests generally, but looks like I got NOTHING on you with what you created. I love your idea of people WORKING TOGETHER on minecraft. Its very clever.
I would have loved to do a charity event especcially doing something that I loved. Best of luck to you
I quote the song "thank you" minecrafter song
-"We are the ones, the ones who play minecraft, dont tell us how, tell us how to play our game. Ten million strong, were all playing our own way, thank you for making a game where no one plays the same"
