Appologies and updates (or my introduction into the wonderful world of bloging) · 5:16am Mar 5th, 2014
Hello everybody, I want to start by apologizing for my lack of any activity. The fall and winter of 2013-2014 for me has been a trying time indeed, but I'm sure every one has been hit with the misery bug during these darkest of days so I won't dwell on that.
I have been working on the next chapter of Adventures in Foalsitting off and on, mostly off unfortunately, all fall and winter long. Progress has been slow thank in part to my never-ending work load both at work and on the family farm where I help my sister when she needs it (all the time). And before you go thinking I'm trying to place myself in a setting from the show, I will say that I live on a dairy farm in western Wisconsin and she is my older sister. While we do have apple trees, but only have 2 of them and they haven't been pruned in so long that the fruit they bear is very small and not very tasty.
The other part of my slow progress is a massive case of writer's block. I think I'm about to shake it though because I have been able to start working on the story again and have some ideas as to where it is going.
Well, that's all for now. I hope that my first ever blog post turned out OK. And for all of you still following me, thank you for your patients.
P.S. If anyone has any ideas for situations around Ponyville I could throw at our intrepid foalsitter, her charge and her friends, let me know. I have some ideas but am always looking for more.
The zap apple harvest could be an interesting situation for them to enter.
