SPark

Not checking in here. I may post stories because my patrons are nice and like ponies. Otherwise out of the fandom, sorry peeps.

  • EOver a Cardboard Sea
A tiny filly stands on an open plain. Somewhere in the distance a fleeting glimpse of white leads her on, her heart yearning towards it. A dark power with her face attempts to stop her. And nothing here is quite what it seems...

    There's where you go.

If you don't have money, fair enough. I've been there, done that. If you do and don't care, fuck off.

    The zines are for sale.

I'll just bump you folks over to twitter for details, but the short version is they're $5 each, $2 USA shipping, $4 international, and I have two pony ones, A Twilight Trio (Unhorsed, Apex, Dreaming of Dragons) and Tender is the Night.

    It exists. :3

That, my friends, is a zine, or a tiny, handmade book, containing three of my recent stories. Right now I'm working on getting them out to the Patrons, and after that I will be selling them in some way or another.

    Zines! AKA tiny books!

I never managed to get on the pony book bandwagon. I just... self publishing is hard, okay? :P But zines are at least marginally less hard, I only have to wrestle with Libre Office, not with some printer's completely unfamiliar absolutely everything.

    Any Hades fans out there?

I do actually have a pony story coming up! (On Patreon on Monday, here on Fimfic on Wednesday! Just a cute little erotica short, but it's one I particularly liked!)

But I'm also currently in the middle of writing Hades story number four in just the last week, so, uh... On a bit of a roll there!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! · 11:06pm Apr 15th, 2014

Holy crap guys!!! Do you see this?! I won! I so did not expect to win. I was in like... fourth place (out of 8) in the community voting, and I'd figured I probably didn't have much chance, but then I won!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

This is the first pony writing contest I've ever won. It's the first, well... any kind of contest I've won since like... high school. (Which was forever ago, I am not a teenager anymore, to say the least.)

I am so fricking excited!

Your welcome.:ajsmug::heart::heart:
How many votes did you have?

Hehe, wow you must really be exited. :rainbowlaugh:

2013342 In the public voting I got 7. However that only counted for part of the total score, and I guess all the judges liked my story.

2013347 I am pretty dang excited, yes! :pinkiehappy:

2013356 I voted for your story so I have one thing to say.

Grats! I'll have to move that story up the ladder on the to read list :derpytongue2:

2013370 He he he! That is awesome.

2013756 Soon or late, whenever you get to it is fine by me.

2013764
Feels like I am always late to read a story hehe. When I get to one most often the last comments are at least a few weeks old if not months. Guess I'm a fan of ol' classics in reading and music :twilightsheepish:

2013764 The emotional state of mind whenever an author actually replies to something I have said in the comments section is best described by a quote from the baseball player Lou Gehrig "Today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the Earth."

2013847 :rainbowhuh: I have no idea why some authors never reply to stuff. I mean... I don't reply to every one-word "nice" comment I get, 'cause really, what is there to say? But when people are actually interested in my writing and my life and such, it seems odd to just ignore that completely.

*steps back a safe distance from SPark, in case she explodes*

Congratulations! :yay:
