    Shin Godzilla

Well, it's been a while since I've done...well...anything on this site. Pony-fatigue is still running strong and my mind is catching up from several years of immersing myself in almost nothing but MLP (from a personal entertainment perspective). But now I'm back, fresh from the theater with a review of Shin Godzilla.
    ...
I'm sure I'll get back to pony eventually...

Movie Review: Now You See Me and Now You See Me 2

So, in between updates on the latest story, I've decided to review another movie, or rather, another pair of movies, both because I have a lot I've wanted to say about these two movies in particular (this being the only real outlet I have for that) and because some of my readers actually seem to like this. To wit, my review of Now You See Me 1 and 2.

    In Other News...TMNT Review

Well, in between editing and posting chapters for my latest story, I found time to see the new TMNT film in theaters and thought I'd give my opinion on it...for those who are actually interested in that sort of thing. So, here it is, my review for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

    Done!

(Collapses, gasping for breath) It's done...I've finished. The final story of the Savage Skies series is finally complete. Suffice to say, I had originally planned a rather brief kinda multi-chapter epilogue...that ballooned out into multiple story arcs, stretching out into a 173,000+ word monstrosity. It didn't help matters that my muse...

Roll Call! · 8:46am Apr 26th, 2014

Okay...so this is something I've been thinking about doing for a little while. I've recently gone back to Foal of the Forest, wanting to check how my first story was doing in terms of reads, likes, and so on...When I brought up the stats, I was bamboozled by the diverse selection of places, particularly Googles, that my story was being referenced from. Heck, I've gotten referrals from some Russian website...in actual Russian. I have no idea what you Russian people are saying about my story but...wow...

It's one of those amazing things about the internet when you realize that cyberspace doesn't have the same regulations that more physical methods of distribution and when I think about how widespread and far-flung the audience for my talking horse words is, I get kinda tingly.

So, this blog post is largely self-serving in the sense that I just kinda want to know...

Where do you come from?

This goes out to all my readers and all my followers who are willing to answer. I'm really curious as to where you hail from. You don't have to give me anything specific, like your street address or even your town. I'd just like to have a rough idea of where the people reading my story are and I think I'm liable to be surprised. I'll start things off by saying I'm from Colorado in the United States. So if you're willing, please comment below about where you hail from dear readers.

Area called Southway, of Plymouth.

The original Plymouth, on the south coast of Devon, in the south west of the United Kingdom.

Does this answer your question?:trollestia:

Specifically, Victoria.

Georgia, the United states one, not the Russian satellite.

I hail from the land known as germany.

I'm from Sweden as my name implies, Gothenburg to be more precise. Second largest city after Stockholm in this little Kingdom. Little is a relatively term nonetheless, were small in inhabitants 9 625 000. But in land mass we are huge, 449964 square km, 5 largest in Europe and also home of the Vikings a few years back.

Pilbra wa Australia

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Right now, I live in Kentucky. The best description of "from" that I can give you is the "United States Air Force" (USAF), or "I'm not really from anywhere, but I grew up everywhere".

Well, I'm from Russia, but I never commented that fiction series, having it fully read and faved though. I'd found that series via featured box, and never seen them mentioned in Russian fandom part. I live in a city named Omsk, and I really liked Dawn :twilightblush:

Morrisville, New York

3 hours west of Chicago Illinois

California, South in east of a city called Riverside

Originally from a little town near Glasgow in Scotland. Now based just North of London, England.

Hawaii, North Shore Oahu
Glad to know the series is still getting some good attention.

I come from the land of Australia

I am from Louisiana. no more info shall be given.

I'm also from Colorado. Nice to find someone else from the best state.

I hail from the mouth of madness and center of chaos. Most people call it Dayton, Ohio.

Sidenote since you talked about how people find your tales....

Found your tales through sheer absolute chance, since I don't really follow to fanfic communities that deeply right now. You had just updated Seasons Turning, I looked at it, liked what I saw, saw it had a prequel, then followed that chain of prequels to Foal of the Forest.

Then I spent the next two days doing 4 hour late night archive binges to catch up. :pinkiehappy:

Dia duit a chairde, conas ata tu? Ta me i mo chonai i Eire. Is maith liom an "Foal of the Forest" creid no na creid.
...I need fadas.

South Asia. I don't know if there are others here from that area

i am in great britain

Reston, Virginia. Its pretty close to D.C.

Another from Australia here, only this time from Sydney.

Colorado, U.S.

Uk, scotland, south ayrshire.

Kentucky bred, born, and raised.

The land of the annoying purists. Philippines.

Michigan. The land we're all four seasons can happen in half an hour.

Answering the call from the land of Wurst and Lederhosen. No, not Bavaria, but Germany, Cologne/Köln. :twilightblush:

2048277 I know that feeling dude. By the time Dad retired though I've been stuck in the frosty Grand Forks, North Dakota. A nice little riverside town that often feels like we get 6-8 months of winter and a short and blisteringly hot summer.

As to when I found the story, you got it into the popular read's section when Foal of the Forest was about three chapters in I think, and at the time I had finally started reading Past Sins so I was instantly attracted by Dawn's eyes on the cover.

Virginia Beach, Virginia. You don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. :derpytongue2:

I'm from Wisconsin, USA.

i think i've said this before, but your Savage Skies stories have some of the best character development and storytelling i've seen, even including professional works... just thought you'd like to know that :pinkiehappy:

I'm from Barbados, down in the Caribbean.

Canada, British Columbia, Surrey

Waaaaay down south in New Zealand here.

East Lansing, Michigan. Ima Spartan.

Melbourne, Australia. :ajsmug:

San Jose, California.

> Heck, I've gotten referrals from some Russian website...in actual Russian. I have no idea what you Russian people are saying about my story but...wow...

Give me link to this, I'll translate it for you. I'm from Moscow, the capital of Russia.

Austin, Texas. Well, a little west of Austin, but close enough.

So cause I'm bored, imma tally the answers up real quick, so including myself from the US:
4 UK
5 Australia
23 US
2 Germany
1 Sweden
2 Russia
1 Ireland
2 South Asia (including the Philippines guy here)
1 Caribbean
1 Canada
1 New Zealand

Florida most recently.

In mystical far away lands there lies the forgotten city known as Portland, Oregon.

Southern California

Amherst, New York of the US. Just think of the city of Buffalo near Niagara Falls, they're pretty close to each other (and where I originally grew up).

I'm Canadian, eh!
And just as awesome ass they say.:trollestia:
That's my roll call for this place:twilightsmile:
Now, back to Saturday with a smily face:pinkiecrazy:
