    Bronycon Forgetfulness

Actually, in this case, it's more that I'm so disorganized in my house that I can't find the specific Magic cards to go netdeck. That, and I left it for the last minute. Cuz that's how I roll. Apparently quite badly.

    On Donald Trump

    Greetings fellow sufferers!

So the Trumby has been sworn into office and stuff. Here, have a video of Stone Cold Steve Austin getting the Trumby drunk and then opening up a can of whoop ass on him.

Every dog- err... moth... catboi... thing has its day.

To be honest, I've been playing absolute craptons of Halo 5 ever since it got released last year. Y'know, instead of trying to write because lazies. Like, multiplayer Warzone is quite amusing once you manage to stockpile enough weapons in your inventory. I absolutely suck at the game, though. Can't shoot worth a damn. But one day, I managed to go on a killing frenzy by miraculously managing to

TRANSCRIPT:

No.

NO!!!

You just wait a fucking second!!! What the fuck did you just call me? WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME?! I'll have you know I'm a yaoi fangirl and proud. You don't insult me.

And by the way, no. NO, it's not gay. Do you even know where that word came from? Japan. Gay came from Japan. The proper term for gay is yaoi.

Just because I'm eleven doesn't mean I can't be a perv. I'm mature. I write yaoi fanfiction. I have many people who like my yaoi posts on fanfiction.net AND deviantart. I read yaoi every single day. Yaoi is my life. I couldn't live without yaoi. I would die without it. I know everything about yaoi sex. I'M NOT STUPID!!! I read my first doujinshi when I was ten. I'm not like other kids so stop saying that I am! I'm sick of it. I'M SO FUCKING SICK OF IT ALL.

I'll have you know I knew what a penis does when I was nine fucking years old. Nine. I WAS FUCKING NINE. I bet you didn't know what a penis was when you were nine.

I type with proper grammar and you don't. You aren't better than me. You don't even use the word for yaoi. It's not gay. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!

And by the way, gay porn is DISGUSTING!!! It's nothing like yaoi. It's unrealistic and GROSS. The ukes usually aren't even shorter than the seme. IT'S DISGUSTING!!! FUCK ALL OF YOU. I'm eleven and I'm not stupid because I actually know about the origin of yaoi and you don't.

Fuck you.

FUCK ALL!!!

The Japanese text showing up apparently has meaning:
"Not gay"
"Japan"
"Gay came from Japan"
"Yaoi (2 men are having sex)"
"I'm not stupid"

The end shot:
"Very mature"
"Not an idiot"
"Go fuck yourself"

I couldn't live without yaoi.

Neither can Orel.

Oops, wrong Yahweh.

I was highly amused by this. I've had a few friends who were like this. They weren't 11.

I cracked up at the part about the ukes and semes. The world would truly would be a magical place if tops were all taller than bottoms... so much easier access and all that jazz.

Anybody ever been to an anime convention? They get pretty crazy, eh? All these geeky teenagers running about, and I do mean teenagers. I go to an annual one in my city, and it seems like no matter what, there is an absolute shitton of teenagers. Like, completely disproportionate to the amount of adults, and this takes place on a university campus. You'd expect a lot more adults, eh?

Anyways, gals will get real rowdy when they see guys making out with each other for the sole purpose of photo ops. Heh, I managed to get in on some action a few years ago and managed to get some tongue action with this blonde-haired cat boy before he ran off to make out with the girl taking pictures and then finally with a guy who was cosplaying as Sasuke Uchiha before running off with him. So slutty... and couldn't have been more than 14 at the time :D

It was my first kiss. His lips tasted hilariously like peanut butter XD Looking back, that was prolly a retarded waste of a first kiss... *chortles*

Yeah, anime cons (anime fans in general) are crazier than normal geek cons, which seem far more rational. Prolly all the youthful enthusiasm. In fact, the fact that the one here is always run by teens possibly contributes to all the insanity.

There used to be another con called Yaoifest, but it only lasted three years, I think. The organizers moved or something. I kinda wish it would come back, if for no other reason that there'd be more anime cons in town.

Speaking of conventions, there's a comic con this weekend. I bought a ticket months ago for today and I almost forgot about it. I've been on midnight shifts since the end of January and embarrassingly have not been keeping up with the news. Midnight shifts have a way of making you not give a damn about a lot in life, eh?

Jenny Breeden, author of The Devil's Panties will be there again. Her comics are a commentary on conventions, eh? I love dumping Canadian Tire money into her booze fund jar. It's practically a tradition. I just wish I could've gone Saturday and dumped it in then. I swear, all the times I dropped it in on Saturdays end up with everybody dropping nothing but Canadian Tire money from then on.

Compared to a Sunday:

Jenny's boots are keen:

Let's see if this is the year that she finally refuses some good old-fashioned play money :P

The Catboi blogs!

I don't know whether I should comment, to encourage you, or not comment, so as not to encourage you. :rainbowderp: But I know I should watch Moral Orel.

Canadian Tire money?

2056310
Did I name drop there? I believe I did. How rude of me.
Canadian Tire money is a loyalty program utilized by the automotive department store, Canadian Tire.

Basically, when you buy anything there, you get little coupons that get you little discounts for your next purchase along with your actual change. These coupons are printed like rather quality bank script and even treated as such in store. Hell, even it even feels like the real thing with the quality of ink and paper used. But, due to their colourful nature emulating actual Canadian money, but mostly due to their relative smaller size, they kinda look like play money. Good luck trying to redeem them at a casino, though :P

Yeah, you could potentially save up Canadian Tire money over a long period and pay completely for some stupid big purchase like an storage shed or a hunting rifle (prolly have to pay GST in actual cash, though). It would be hard, because they only come in denominations of 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, and $2. Quite a loyalty program, eh?

Hmm... your actions betray your true intent. Think of it as encouraging a hilarious train wreck. It's transporting hydrogen balloons and bunnies.

You're the first person I've met that's shown interest in Morel Orel. All my friends haven't seen it or are like, "I don't get it. Religion? Eww!" Then again, I haven't actively searched the net for any fans.

Wait, you mean those brightly-colored Canadian bills are real money? :pinkiegasp:

I was excited about a show that made fun of religion, but was disappointed by it. The writers don't know anything about American churches. There's a lot to make fun of, but they basically just said "DURR Christians are stupid!"

2065669
What do you think they could've presented in lieu of what they did? Eheh... I don't know how it would relate to American church. Or if I did, it was too long ago. I do know that different churches have different ways of doing things. In one church I went to, when it came to the Lord's Prayer, everybody would hold hands and raise them in prayer. I think only a couple did that when I lived there. In the churches I've gone to in Canada, it's the Sign of the Cross beforehand. Different groups in the same religion. Umm...

I liked the show, mostly in the third season where they backtrack into season Twi's events from different character views. It's also where Orel shows the most growth. I really latched onto that.

Orel's naïveté is very relatable. I have totalitarian parents who are overprotective, so I grew up not learning a lot of practical things. I don't think they're completely to blame; I prolly have the predisposition towards it.

Same thing with Orel being quite trustworthy and trying to see the good in everyone. Sometimes, you have to see past any good to see real threats as they really are. Too relatable.

I ended up taking the show as being both serious and comedic. I dunno. Making fun of religion became secondary to the life lessons that could be interpreted from the show.

Also loved the stop motion. I love stop motion. Last time I watched stop motion was Coraline, I think.

There were so many stop motion references in Morel Orel that it's an amusing game to try and find them all.

The credits sequence is ironic as hell.

I want to see the show again. Last time I saw it was in 2010 or something, when Teletoon took it of the air.
