This is literally six different, awful story descriptions I spotted in the new releases over the past hour. Be warned; reading may cause blood to pour out of your eyes.

This is my first story, on this website or any, about my OC, (Name in Progress). He is a Changeling, escaped from Chrysalis' reign, brought up in a rural, poverty stricken village, but I won't spoil too much.
Before reading this story, know that anything in apostrophes is his thoughts, and anything in quotations is being spoken.

Do I even need to say anything?

Big Macintosh is worried for Applejack's health he believes she's working way to hard and she wants her to take the day off but she is to stubbern to listion so Big Macintosh takes matters into his own hooves and creates a plane involving 'Posion Joke'

I wonder if that person has ever been taught what a comma is?

now. gilda is back in ponyville, and she's tilll mad at Rainbow Dash. so she spred an awefull rumour that makes Dash look stupid in front of the whole village.

Note: this Fanfic was inspired by the Pewdiepie video :Flowers for my valetine. so that means the original fanfic for that story belongs to the original owner, this is just for fun and I just thought of this while looking at that video which belongs to the one and only Pewdiepie. During a boring day, Spike writes a fanfic about his two roommates, Fluffle Puff, and, Chrysalis. He shows it to his other roommate, Dan, to see how the story is. As they read, the two find the fanfic hilarious as they read it together.
Equestria universe, and Spike is human in this one, rather that being a dog.

So yeah, the moral of the story is that the description is essential. It reels readers in and is the first stepping stone to getting them hooked on your story. These descriptions are like warning signs to fucking stay away from your fic. Even one misspelt word or a grammar slip will drive people away. What can you do? Have someone you can trust read the description and let them give you their thoughts. How much should there be? What to cut? Spell and grammar checking? Trust me, it's saved my ass more times than I can count.
