The past few weeks have been interesting to say the least.
So as I mentioned in the last blog post, for a while there, Babies 'R' Us was fucking me over on hours. This resulted in a paycheck where I was a full 180 dollars short to pay rent, let alone any other bills. I had to scramble to get help and I ended up royally pissing off the person renting me the room.
I managed to get my parents to let me crash at their place, and they offered to assist me in paying for an apartment now, and let me stay so long as I make a noticeable effort to improve my situation. This is partly spurred by a series of bad and interesting events over the past few weeks that caused them to re-think things. There was a murder across the street from the room-for-rent, an accident on a highway where a car flipped 360 in the air, another accident where a driver on some form of drugs whipped out into oncoming traffic and killed a 53 year old grandma. Lastly, my step-grandmother tripped on the stairs and ended up breaking her jaw in the same spot on both sides.
Anyways, I put down deposit and an application on an apartment for 489/mo yesterday. Hopefully I get it, and here goes nothing.
To those who helped me out: I've not forgotten you. I'll find a way to repay y'all when I can.
