    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

Omnivorous? · 7:02pm Jun 19th, 2014

Well, the case has been opened. Why have sharp teeth for grain? What is going on here?

Odd, as most of times I've seen pegasi being able to eat fish, and yet none of them are pegasi.

Maybe it is for artistic flair?

That's exactly what it is.

Gilda had teeth in her beak... this really isn't that odd.

2219607

Where does it actually show the pegasi eating fish in the show? Cause I have never seen it.

2219611

And that was just stupid.

Almost has stupid as pictures of griffons giving blowjobs.

Please, stick your dick into this scissor like device that is razor sharp.

2219614 It's a fan thing, pretty popular in the community but no factual evidence in the show... although one must wonder why the Apples were fishing in the newest Flim Flam episode.

2219614 In fannon I meant.

I dunno where it would have been. It's my guess it's done for artistic flair.

Two hypotheses:

1. Note how in all of these instances the pony is protecting something. The emotions involved trigger a magic similar to that of changelings, sharpening the protector's teeth both to intimidate the aggressor and to provide a weapon if need be. This magic is also related to the "stretchy limb" phenomenon best but not exclusively seen in Pinkie Pie.

2. Ponies are entirely capable of omnivory. All the fat and protein that go into a big brain had to come from somewhere. However, Equestrians are culturally more comfortable with vegetarianism, using legumes, eggs, and other bloodless protein sources. Fluttershy may be the pony most comfortable with carnivory in Ponyville. After all, she was feeding fish to ferrets in "Dragonshy."

These hypotheses are not mutually exclusive. The magic may make already sharp teeth even sharper.

Well, Sombra.

A unicorn. Fanged.

Ahem, may I point out this thing all the way from season one?

I guess a case could be made that that bologna sandwich was meant more for any theoretical none-pony guests and that AJ simply didn't recognizance heavily processes meat...

But given that the girl and her family keeps pigs, and that is one of the few larger animals we've seen that isn't 'can talk back' levels intelligent, I rather doubt it.

joke aside, in inspiration manifestation there is a clean visuals of some shrimp appetizers (that have appeared before around Rarity, but never as clearly) and while crossed, the kids do not actually apperad surprised (or disgusted) by the fish themself, so it must be commonfor them to see fish being eaten, ergo, ponies eat fish

about meat...they do have a fast food with burgers, but the fact is still in debact

I'm of the thought that it's for artistic reason. This ees a cartoon remember :rainbowwild:
But in a serious sense, I'm also of the mind that ponies can eat fish and eggs when they get the notion to. It's kinda like a personal choice between meat and tofu.

I am going to make that middle one my new desktop background SO FAST.

Thestrals are omnivorous, at least in the fandom.

you all might be interested in this blog I just made after thinking about this blog and the show a bit.

A little necro-commenting here: IRL horses(and ponies) have canines technically(well 1/4 of mares on average and virtually all stallions do). Also as herbivores a horse will still eat meat, they aren't natures vegans. It's just not a dietary staple.
A domestic horses reaction to the taste of meat varies widely though, it has been noted that some can't stand it after trying some once and others prefer it to other treats(including sugar-cubes and carrots). Eating songbirds and the occasional rodent has been noteworthy behavior for different breeds of equines in some high altitude or arid regions. Heck, a white-tailed deer will eat a songbird alive. It's normal(-ish) for ungulates.

Now, dairy product consumption as adults-- that's more unusual. The majority of humans have a mutation that enables us to continue consuming foods high in lactose as adults. Most mammals don't have this mutation, at all, in their genetics.
