    "New Health"

At least, that's what it says when I copy-paste the title into google translator. It should be saying "Another Day", but I guess Chinese is so far away from English that a machine translation can't be trusted. Yes, Chinese, you read that right.

The chick that cries gets fed...

Silent chicks suffer. Their growth is impaired because they're not getting the support they need, but needlessly so; there is enough food, others are getting fed all the time. Silent chicks suffer, and eventually die, unnoticed.

The chick that cries gets fed... · 2:56pm Aug 22nd, 2014

Silent chicks suffer. Their growth is impaired because they're not getting the support they need, but needlessly so; there is enough food, others are getting fed all the time. Silent chicks suffer, and eventually die, unnoticed.

Now, this site is filled with authors. Some of these authors are huge, masters at what they do, with fancy plumage and keen eyes. Others are fledgelings, completely new to this world and pecking in the dark. The fledgeling might be intimidated by the larger birds, and think: "Who am I to ask for help from such a magnificent being?" It's forgetting that each and every last one of those big birds started just as small, and needed help to grow.

InquisitorM, a man I've grown very fond of and who has helped me grow both as a writer and a person, has blogged about this. If you can identify with the fledgeling in any way, or have even stayed in your egg and haven't made a fimfic account yet, this post is for you! If you've been too afraid to ask for help, take this as an extended hand. In the comment section, you will also find other great people that have the time and ability to help you.

Don't be the silent chick. There are people out there who want and will help you grow into the splendid specimen you're supposed to become.

What a fantastic analogy. Thank you very much!

2391061 You're welcome. It's a worthy pursuit and it defines what I want this fandom to be more of. I must admit, the bird analogy was somewhat Descendant-inspired! ^^
