Well, the finals of the semester are coming soon, and I already know without a doubt that I'm going to fail English and Filipino. I'm going to have to make up for it next semester if I don't want to be expelled.
Anyway, enough moaning about the failures I've inflicted upon myself in my life. I'm finally working on a REAL STORY!
I was working on a whole bunch of others, but none of them ever got past the planning phase, but now I've got a real, genuine idea! Kudos to the guys who made the MLP loops; their 'Earth Pony Twilight, Unicorn Pinkie, Pegasus Rarity, etc.' loop brought forth this story.
The idea is that Twilight was born an Earth Pony with a strange precognitive ability that she wouldn't miss a chance to study (as well as various physical oddities that she has trouble thinking about - which is pretty scary, if you ask her), and Pinkie Pie was born a Unicorn with exceptional magical power.
It focuses on Twilight attempting to learn what she can about her own strangeness in Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns while being envious of her best friend, Pinkie Pie, personal student of Princess Celestia and overall oddball.
Who knows, maybe it might be good enough that I'll post it!
Apologies; I can't think of any interesting philosophical conversation topic. I suppose I could point towards MogWorld (an amazing book by Yahtzee Croshaw) and question how we distinguish sapience from non-sapience, but that might be more of a question of semantics than a question of morality.
Can you guys think of an interesting conversation topic? I've been passing the time debating on youtube, (and I suppose it's a bit sad, that I actually seek debates) and that's somehow not as thought-provoking as the debates I've had on this site.
The story sounds like it could be interesting.
Regarding conversation topics, my mind is unfortunately currently occupied with how annoyed I am at my Thermodynamics professor. Yes, yes, go ahead and post part b of the homework without warning before you've, you know, finished writing part a. That won't throw my work schedule into disarray at all.
