Chapter two update · 2:54am Sep 26th, 2014
Progress on chapter two has been coming along slowly, and by that I mean very slowly. I managed to get another 200 words down this past hour or so, and that's pretty good. So far, I'm on just over 450 words, and I suppose I'm happy with that.
I haven't been able to write as much as I might have liked to, and that's because real life is getting in the way, like it does with pretty much every creative thing ever.
I hope that the second chapter is better than the first. I think it might be, maybe. I'm trying to involve the environment and body language more this time. In one scene I make Twilight look at a clock, and in another scene she raises a hoof up while she speaks. Hopefully it's better than it sounds here.
The story is progressing nicely, and also I cut down on all the variations on what I can describe the characters as instead of their names. I'm using their names a lot more now instead of saying "purple mare" and all that stuff, since I know someone other than me complained about that. I was annoying myself with it, too, so don't worry about it.
Release date for the next chapter is currently estimated at around fall 2016, so I'll see you then.
