Fuck you too, Hasbro · 8:19am Oct 2nd, 2014

*Plans something involving Tirek and thinks that he is very clever for working in a pre-FIM MLP villain

-Watch epilogue of latest season and promptly freak out and rewrite plans

*Plans something involving sea ponies and meremares, the differences thereof, and thinks he's very clever

-Rainbow Rocks introduces immortal, hippocampi sirens that feed on hatred and have to rewrite plans around this new canon in order to fit them in. Even if EQG is non-canon as far as BM is concerned

I swear to fuck Hasbro, if this happens one. More. Time...

seems like you're having lovely time

2501083 Oh its just wonderful. grumble grumble.

I know I am complaining about far off things in the story, but its still irritating.

Pfff. Obviously Hasbro peeked at the future, saw your fanfics, and copied off of them. I mean, it's the only logical solution.

I have had TWELVE story ideas taken by Hasbro. I thought a crystal tree full of magic was unique...

For the most part, it actually went perfectly with my head canon. Even the sirens horrifying fish-horse design works my favor.

...so long as no seahorse styled sea ponies show up. I need dolphin tails for this to work.

2501829 I had this happen before. Because of the source I'm using for BM's worldbuilding, sea ponies have a set design that's actually pretty cool... then the comics introduced mermares which look significantly less appealing so I'm including them but differentiating them rather than sacrifice the already cool seaponies... now I have the sirens to deal with.

Basically the world beneath the waves in my story is going to get pretty fucking crowded. But I hadn't actually thought about sirens until the movie came out, it seems so obvious now.

2501671 Ouch. That's rough man.

2501577 I once had people accusing me of sorcery because I wrote Flim and Flam selling magical cureall snakeoil before the episode was released where they do exactly that. Guess I had this coming.

I was already thinking about having the fish-ponies be sirens fuckin up the mammal-based sea ponies' reputation, but now it's sealed.

For me, having the deep crowded is a good thing since I'm writing about nautical adventures.

Plus, dramatic underwater battles between the different sea horses.

2501931 Just wondering... Were you guys over in Ireland required to read The Odyssey? I'm just thinking, since over here most of the states require it.
edit: For school. God damn, I hated my ELA teacher.

2502193 Ulysses. And sometimes. Depends on the school. But we take literature very seriously on this island.

2502198 You guys do? Over here, literature is mostly tossed down the trash. Besides the education system and people who genuinely read (or can read, too many fucking dipshits over here) the choice of novels we have (or at least me, they don't like ninth graders reading gruesome books but they allow them to read Fifty Shades Of Grey and the Hunger games, which don't even get me started on those books... *cough* full of faggots *cough*)
are fairly limited, and even more restricted as we try to find a good read. Currently, I'm reading some book about a isolated country in a fantasy land. Either way, I was fairly curious because despite more countries adopting American policies and such, I still don't know shit about other cultures. But hey, I'm a quarter German and a quarter Irish. The other half? The fuck if i know where it went, hell I could be part Swedish or some bullshit. Might look it up someday, when I give a fuck. My point is - America is fairly a ignorant country, although idolized by some and hated by others (cough ISIS cough) and I couldn't give less of a damn about anyone here.
In other words, America motherfuckers.

They're in your brain, man. Gotta remember to wear your standard issue tinfoil thought protector.
