Well, I figured out a way to connect to wifi on SSBB. I went to smashboards.com and found this post:
The steps are a little bit complicated, so I'll simplify it in the best way I can.
First off, you will need an SD card. 2GB or less is recommended. Scroll down to step 1 and follow all the instructions it gives you. Make sure you delete ALL of the custom stages off of the new save file you download. Then scroll down to step 2 to the section titled 'Brawl (Hackless method)' and follow all the steps shown. I would recommend installing Riivolution, but either one will work. To get to the application that lets you connect to wifi, go to the vault, then to the stage editor.
Make sure that you click 'Launch' if you are using Riivolution, not 'Install'. Other than that, you should be good to go.
You will be assigned a brand new FC when you connect, so let me know what yours is and I'll register you. My FC is 4902-2631-6181. Just let me know if you want to play, and I'll PM you whenever I'm available.
