Most Indeptheness review on the site?

So there's about eight people doing a review of Puppet to her Fame. I really liked their discussion, and it was enlightening to look back on something I wrote 18 months ago now (wow) and see what I did wrong. It's interesting to look at where I am now and imagine how I could re-write this story... but odds are I'll take that feedback and re-roll it into a new grimdark lovecraft-inspired story, and make an even better pony fiction.

And it is an hour-long podcast, but they cover everything.

I do not know why they do not like it. I have 4 hypotheses as to what the hooks are:

* They are from the magic of Octavia Melody she inadvertently projects.
* The parents used dark magic on Octavia for forcing her to me a musician, but it backfired terribly.
* The hooks come from another universe where a bored entity plays with ponies.
* The universe of MLP:FIM has more than 3 spatial dimensions. An entity with higher spatial dimensions plays with the ponies imbedded in the 3D-Brane stretching across its universe.
