Those Kids In The Corner

As noble as we see Ourselves to be, we never quite live up to the standard of our own principle.

    Thanks 4chan

Checked my referrals, found this gem.

I've only browsed 4chan like 20 times in my life total, I'm surprised I found it. I couldn't find where the link was shared on tabun.everypony.ru.

    Thankee, random anon.

    The Wind Project

I participated on this. I hate seeing (or in this case reading) stuff about people being depressed. I saw Calm's post about him going through a breakup and became downtrodden myself. Then, after a little while, CowgirlVK messaged me through a pm. It stated:

    FIRST BLOG POST!

Took me long enough to figure this out. I've been reading stories on here for about 6-8 months and it just now let me on! That number/letter word thing you have to do at the end of the registration process always said I had something wrong. I must have tried to get it right a thousand times!

The Wind Project · 2:23am Nov 29th, 2014

I participated on this. I hate seeing (or in this case reading) stuff about people being depressed. I saw Calm's post about him going through a breakup and became downtrodden myself. Then, after a little while, CowgirlVK messaged me through a pm. It stated:

Hi. I know I have never contacted you before. But I was hoping you would help us with a little project we are hatching to cheer up Calm Wind. I am calling all of his artists for the project so if you are interested please contact me.
Here is the plan; Calm is in the dumps... Friendship=magic... We as a team are going to get together and lift him up. Thanks giving is just around the corner.
Find out exactly who are his artists and contact them. Find out who is in and who is not. Then we get together say on my wall... some pony distracting Calm. (Kes or PB or SJ) And we design a image together that shows our support. Then we will graph the image and hand out assignments.
Each artist will take a piece of the puzzle to draw. Then on Thanksgiving we send them in to him one at a time by order of number (Each section will be numbered)
There is the project. If you are interested Please let me know so we can get a time for the group to get together and do this. If not thank you for your time.

I accepted it, and then my head hit the floor with exhaustion each night. I had to figure out how to put them, what the would be doing, and how I would do it. My first option was just to do them digitally. But, then I went to a family members house and I couldn't work on it because I had to leave my iPad at home. I do all of my digital art on my iPad, and by the time I could get home, the deadline would be passed.

I then thought about drawing it on paper. Knowing me, it would get crumpled and lost. That was ruled out as an option. I couldn't do art on my Kindle (which I do just about everything else on) because I've tried before, and trust me. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO ART ON MY KINDLE. That was a catastrophe. I was about to give up. There was no way else I could do it.

Then, since I'm an idiot and didn't ask, I was informed that I could turn it in later. I got home the next day and buckled down. I pried the iPad from my dad and got to work. I spent about 3 hours working on each one, and I had to give the iPad back to my dad at several times.

Now, I am closing in the finish line. I'm just a breath away from completely finishing this project. I was originally not going to take the chance and not do it. But then I thought about my own motto:

If you never try, you'll never know.

Thanks so much for your help and amazing art piece!

Absolutely. Short but sweet. And it has been a pleasure working with you.
