They say reading can take you anywhere. I say writing is what does that.

    Work, Work, Work...

I have no idea how many of you are still on-board with the Conduit Series but to those of you who are I apologize.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that I have been trained in so many certifications in my work, I am in very high demand sometimes not seeing much sleep at night. Most of the time not seeing the weekend.

    Conflicting Interests

I'm sure everybody is happy to see me back from the dead in a sense and that the sequel to The Northern Winds finally came out after a couple years hiatus (apologies) but unfortunately I have to put it on pause for just a little while longer in order to finish up my drawing I have going on. Don't worry it won't take long I just have to finish lining it out but it's getting harder because

    Spain

So now here I am in Spain and boy is it hot, it never rains and literally everything is dead. Despite these facts for some reason there are sea shells forming everywhere in the middle of what I could only imagine is a massive desert. It puzzles me to this day. Anyways, my time spent here is going to be spent making a new life for me. I'm going to get my creative juices flowing again and focus

Happy Hearth's Warming! · 6:05am Dec 26th, 2014

Happy Hearth's Warming day! This may be a bit late in the evening, or rather the morning of the next day for some of you.
As some of you know I am very into the yearly holiday that is Christmas. So far I have started the tradition of giving out a gift to all of my followers each year on the day. Last year I started a new story called "The Northern Winds" but as I worked on that a bit I saw people give more interest to my other story "Escape Insanity and Operation: Crimson Rainbow." I have not worked on Crimson Rainbow as much as I have wanted to in a while so I decided to make that my Christmas gift. I tried to throw you guys off by saying all of my stories were on hiatus while the truth was that I was working really hard on Crimson Rainbow.
Originally the plan was for Escape Insanity and Crimson Rainbow to be COMPLETELY done by Christmas and out to you guys as a gift. That's right, COMPLETELY. This plan, however, did hit a speed bump as you may notice when looking at the story page.

P.S: While working on the story I accidentally pushed "publish" instead of "edit" which is why there was a false alarm on the story update. Sorry, my bad. It has happened more than once. If someone could contact knighty and tell him to think about putting a "safety" button in on that, that would be much appreciated.

What happened summed up into one word is "family." I decided to go on a Christmas vacation to see my older sister and spend Christmas with her in the beautiful, not freezing cold, state of Alabama. The last time we have had Christmas together was when I was about 5 years of age and this is my last year to celebrate it with my family because, lets face it, no matter how much I beg for leave on Christmas my first year in the Marines, I probably won't get it.
Anyways, long story short, I found myself without a laptop because I lost the charging cable for my own laptop and it was left with like 20% battery life. I had to go through a time of inactivity concerning working on the story during which I read other author's stories on the site. The most memorable being "A Haunting Nightmare." Go check it out, I give it a 10/10.
When I arrived at my sisters house I had told her about how my plans to surprise you guys had be foiled by the vacation and she offered so willingly the use of her laptop and internet in order for me to... well, not be behind as much.
I am still on vacation and I am not due back until maybe the 29th but I am working very hard when I have nothing else to do. If you as me, I feel confident that I could have the last part out by new years, but that's just an estimate.
In other news, I bought myself a brand new super computer that has everyone in my house drooling. If only they could learn to share the Wi-Fi...*sigh* This new super computer allows me to get in touch with the modern day PC games like BF3, BF4, Titanfall, and Shadow of Mordor, along with a couple of old games I never got to play that I saw on sale. Anyone remember Darksiders? If any of you want to play then drop e a line. I will be happy to accompany you, but first things first, I have to get this story done. It has been sitting around for far too long and needs to finally be laid to rest. As much as I have enjoyed working on it: all stories need endings.
Anyways, that's my current status update. Maybe I should start doing more where I tell you what's going on more often. That might help you to believe I am still alive. Oh, and one more thing...
Thanks for putting up with my laziness on this story for the past year or two. I made a lot of void promises as I was making this story and the only one that was true was the one where I said "I will have all stories done before going into the Marines." Here we are though. It's finally come to an end. Hopefully I can finish "The Northern Winds" after this. So far it is looking promising at around 5,000 words per chapter. I have the plot all drawn out on a piece of paper and have done "special research" to make it more realistic.
That's all I have to say for now,
Stay strong in the ways of the Brony,
