Well,Hello guy - I'm new here and i want to write a fiction.It's about the invasion of futuristic spaceship dystopian-liked human and the ponies.
It's alternate story after season 1 but 2500 AD for mankinds.Well for me Equestria is exist on this universe at the horsehead nebula.
The humans was done WW3 because of the "great starve".The world run out of 67% of worldwide species caused of nuclear wars and global warming even well-known species like pandas,penguins etc.
The ten superpower united in the name of "One Nation".They were America,United Kingdom,France,Japan,India,China,Russia,Canada,Germany and Israel.They selected humans who strong,smart or famous and left the others to die on their home.
The human classified themselves by the faction.They include Soldiers the highest following the Brainman ,Inventor ,Adsverstator ,Biologist, Culturian ,Explorer ,Entertainer ,Artist and Articultgist the last(or the lowest-classed).
The upper five known as "The government's men" and the lower five knwon are "the men under control"because they're drugged by the biologist who created the serum to "help" their "jobs"
Each factions got difference drugs
Culturian-Memory drug,Make them forget nothing they put into their brain
Explorer-Painless drug,blocking the pain maker part of their brains
Entertainer-Sleepless drug,Make they don't have and don't want to sleep
Artist-Creativity Drug,Give them higher creativity but less logic slowly
Articultgist-Happy Drug,Give them reasonless happy and blocking they negative emotions
The ruler(i still not think of his/her name yet)want to wipe out all the "locals"as he/she says it's just a "purify".

Books, tv shows and games can help you. See if some of these come close to what you want to do and mix them up a bit. This is why they say that writers need to read a lot.

The pc game haze might have some useful ideas. Haze is a first person shooter in which the main character is a killer fueled by drugs for a megacorp.

How many years of writing have you done?
This story can be quite a handful.
I am not saying don't do it.
If you really want, go for it but if this is your first, the learning curve is quite high.
When I wrote my first story, it was alright.
Then I got cocky and banged out an eighteen chapter train wreck.
I finished it on DA but I did not post the finished parts to Fimfiction.
I called it Children of Oonte. You can see it in my stories.
It hurt when people said it was a train wreck but after did more writing, I could understand why.
I still love the story and plan to fix it up. I even wrote a sequel before I stopped.
If you have been writing a while, you still have to be careful.

Here is a theme from one of my stories.
Children of Oonte
A human becomes an anthro pony and must deal with the invasion of her world as well as being an anthro pony. She also must deal with being with a member of a group of ponies that leads the resistance.
There is more to the story than that but this is the main theme.
In your story, you need a main theme and maybe some lesser ones.

Plan out your story.
Some folks are discovery writers and others are outliners.
Discovery writers just write to discover their story.
Outlining to them spoils the fun.
I discovery write, if I have enough to outline, I have enough to write.
I will outline if I am in a collab or I have to walk away from a project for a while.
The problem with discovery writing is that if you find something cool, you have to go back and edit the earlier chapters. In some respects, the first draft of a discovery writers story is really the outline and the second draft is the real story.
Outliners find an empty page scary but with an outline they have a plan.
The problem with outlines is that you have to remember that the outline has to be expanded on.
A lot of writers are combos.

Do some research.
This sounds like extra work but in a lot of cases, it actually makes things easier.
For what you are doing history/military books might give you a ton of ideas.
Personal experience can also be useful.
One of the stories I am working on is based in Las Vegas.
I found it easier to write about the area when I looked at maps of the area.
Making up character names was easier when I had a list of local politicians.
