I don't know what you're talking about, I've always looked like this.

One year on · 10:52pm Jan 30th, 2015

So it has officially been a year since Bad Mondays was first uploaded.

...

Yeah I got nothing.

Nearly two months now and I got like, what? Three thousand words to show for it? Oh boy Handyman, u sur do wrote fust!
This should be a bigger deal than it is but I'm just not feeling it right now, it took JBL poking me in skype to remind me the anniversary past (hint, it was the 26th) and all I could mutter was a pathetic "...well shit." I can't even get the next chapter out, let alone do anything special for the occasional. Hell, I still haven't even got those damned maps done.

And its not just Bad Mondays, pretty much every other project or thing I have going on elsewhere has ground to a stuttering halt and I don't have any damn excuse for it. Bad Monday's isn't dying, I love the story too much to let that happen, it just seems I can't get anything done right now, I don't think its burnout either, since I have a million and one ideas floating around in my head (and some are dying because I cant get them to paper) and this goes to those other fics I have running around in my unpublished folders, Dominoes, that Fallout Equestria fic I've been planning on posting just to piss JBL off, things like that. Everything is just stopping dead.

So again, sorry for the lack of updates, I'll try for this Monday but like always, don't hold your breath. I reccommend My Little Pony: Journey for a decent HiE fix to hold you guys over in the meantime, Tio doesn't look like he's slowing down any time soon.

In the meantime, I'll try to get something done. See you guys later.

You'll get through it eventually, just takes time, I look forward to it though.

You write some quality stuff, bro. No need to sully that by rushing through anything (Which I doubt you'll do). You'll get it done when you get it done.

Your story is worth waiting for. Take as much time as you need, Handy. Turn the wifi off and clear your mind. Go visit somewhere you haven't before.

Hell, you're a quality writer. Maybe all you need is to let yourself write shitty for a while.

Might have Plot Bunny Multiplication Syndrome, in which new ideas are piling up so fast, and in such quantities, it becomes hard to think about anything other than them. I know I've had it in the past...

Anyway, whatever it is, we can wait a bit. You put out good stuff, so I'm not too worried.

Sounds like that'd be the browser's procrastination syndrome. You keep reading or doing other stuff online and never quite feel like it's the right time to get something done?

Best way to beat that is to go to go outside and write. Do it under a tree or something with no internet. Make it so productivity is the only good option at the time. The new environment gets you out of your current habits and you'll forget it was ever difficult to get motivated. Allocate some time that you have to be there. It worked for me. You can pick any place as long as you remove the options that involve not getting shit done.

Know that feel bro :ajsleepy:

Congrats man and honestly take your time, better the chapers get done when they are ready rather then rushing them. I can only really speka for myself but i can make a good guess that everyone else shares my belife that it's no problem waiting a bit more.

2758567 Well, thats good to hear.

2758582 Handyman? Rushing things? Noooooo

Just. Ignore those times when I literally dumped a chapter on people's heads once a week.

2758704 Would you believe I have no clue on the quality of my writing until a second pair of eyes sees it first? I'd be torturing JBL and Jude if I wrote schlock for the sake of writing schlock.

...

Hang on that actually sounds like a fun idea now.

2758808 That sounds pretty close to the mark actually.

2759047 Well I do have this cherry blossom tree out back with a tree house in it designed for my niece, I suppose I could be an asshole and go up into it come Spring.

2759119 Can't get shit done right now either, eh?

2759584 I'm glad everyone's so patient, but that isn't necessarily making this any better.

>> Usurper Well I do have this cherry blossom tree out back with a tree house in it designed for my niece, I suppose I could be an asshole and go up into it come Spring.

2761490 Either/or. The asshole part was never mandatory. The point was to just get away from whatever's causing the problem. That can include the environment and internet.

Working 14-15 hour days, seven on, two off. Any free time I get is spent sleeping or trying to stay in shape. All these ideas in my head and I can't let them out.

2761713 I only hear of work hours like that at either a construction yard or a sweat shop, good Lord man.

2761725
Nuclear power plant... so kinda both.

2761490 True, but I know from own experiance it's allways better to take your time so you can make sure that the next chapter or part of a story feels right to you and the story as a whole. Otherwise you will just end up going back and forth feeling for the lack of a better term that you "fucked it up" and one of the only way to fix that is to retcon/rewrite.
