Field trip Update. · 3:13am Feb 9th, 2015
This is just a quick heads up for the two hundred and twenty three people that mightn't care about the state of the story.
As you may have noticed, Field trip has been on an unofficial hiatus since about September 2014 as I rewrite it. It’s been a real pain in the ass, but as of now chapters -1-10, all 40 thousand words of them, have been gutted and the old version has been replaced.
While I am going to go over the other 40,000 words, this will be just a touch up rather then gutting the whole thing and building it back up from scratch so it shouldn't take nearly as long. And Chapter 12 part 3, and chapter 13 are already planned out, so that should help the time till a new chapter is seen as well.
Thanks for your patience (or for forgetting this story was even in your favorites), and while I won't set a date because better people then me have done that and not been able to stick to it, I will say that there should be something to see soon.
Thanks again.
So why did you rewrite it, I am going to have to reread it but I'm wondering if I will notice everything.

It was a mix of that phase every one seems to go through where they cant stand to look at their own work, and making it so a core Idea that I had later on didn't seem out of place.
yayyyyyy I cant wait :)
yayyyyyy I cant wait :)
I am extremely late to be saying this, but I am really thankful you are continuing the story.
3081464 And I'm thankful someone is still waiting to read it.
I'm currently skimming over chapter 11 part 2 of the rewrite. These ones shouldn't take nearly as long to do. Then I can get back on with writing new chapters.
3081633 good, it's been a while since i last read the whole story, so if if might ask, what did you change/fix in the rewrites?
3081694 this is the first fic I've ever written, so it's mostly me just trying to hammer out my bad writing habits now that some of them have been made clear to me (I'll probably just end up replacing them with new ones but It was mostly because I wen't through that stage everyone seems to where they can't stand the sight of their work work), and to replace a core idea that wouldn't have worked in the long run. Better I fix it now then leave it and wind up having to let the story die because I went and wrote myself into a corner.
