    Mistakes were made.

Familiarity chapter 11 keeps causing problems. I sat down the day before yesterday with the goal of pushing it a bit further to completion, and when I looked everything over I realized I'd made a terrible mistake in the planning.

    Belated Familiarity Update.

So, Familiary has been on hiatus for way longer than I hoped it would. Unfortunately, this is not very surprising considering my non-existent work ethic, incredibly fickle muse, short attention span and tendency towards procrastination. Don't get me wrong, when I do write I tend to write quite a lot. I just wish I was capable of being in that mindset for more than just, like, two months a year.

    Familiarity status update.

Well, I finished publishing act 1 of Familiarity, but I'm now out of chapters so continuing the previous update schedule is currently impossible. As such I've put the story on hiatus for now. I still don't know how much of act 2 I will bother to write before I continue. Ideally I would like to complete a decent number of chapters and continue like I have so far, but if the writing progress takes

The Masque of the Red Death! · 8:53pm Mar 15th, 2015

Jesus Christ, I got the goddamned Spanish flu or something. I've been super-sick the past two days. :fluttershbad:

I don't get sick very often and when it happens it's usually not too bad, but this time it was some debilitating bullshit. That virus got itself good and thoroughly entrenched in my respiratory tracts and when my immune response arrived it found itself facing a field of impaled skulls, beyond which towered a terrifying doom-fortress, battlements swarming with the barbarian microbe horde. Everything north of my shoulders was a blasted wasteland suffering under their iron-heeled rule. I was so sick, I haven't really been able to do anything except sit around and try to wish myself back to health. I've barely been able to eat. In fact, I think I've consumed more medicine than food the last couple of days - which, no, is not something the body appreciates. Also, that damn fever made it hard for me to sleep the first two nights.

So thank goodness I'm feeling better now. I mean, I'm still sick, but this is more like regular sick. Hopefully I'll be back to something resembling full health in a couple more days.

Stop dieing! D:

Reminds me of when I went three weeks with the flu. Couldn't get medicine till the final week and even then it was like debilitating with how my bones from the inside began to ache. The whole sensation was like dieing anew every time you wake up.

Hope you're feeling much better now, though. Last person to get sick and feel like dieing released a Diamond and Silver Bogus Journey fic. Here's hoping you at least get something out of your torture. lol

Sounds awfull.
I hope you gett well soon.
