Artwork featured? I didn't submit it... Awesome. · 2:22am Mar 27th, 2015
So for the first time, one of my MLP art pieces was submitted to Equestria Daily by someone else.
Nice to know that someone liked my work enough to want to share it:
Fun part is that this is the second of three that will all be part of the cover of my next fic. This one is one of my side projects, not an extremely long fic, it's my first real attempt at comedy, and as you can probably guess from the artwork, it features the crusaders some time in the future when they've all gotten their cutie marks and are now the crusader demolition squad... but that's only one part of the story. The mane six and even quite a few background characters are also featured... I already know I won't be able to tag all of them when I post the story. It's going to be titled Not Dead Yet and is coming soon so keep an eye out.
As for progress on sequels to my other series: Father of Light in the Midnight Star series continues to progress, while the short side stories I'm writing to cover the time between The Frozen Empire and Father of Light are also progressing steadily. In fact the first is almost done. These short stories will be released as a collection called "Midnight Star: Recovery" and each chapter will be an individual short story of some event that occurs between the main stories. I'll start posting them as I finish them, but each mini story will probably be released with some time in between and I may not even get to them all before I start posting Father of Light.
In the Alicorn Imperium universe that started with Child of Misery, the next story, Blue Mage, is about a quarter written, in rough draft form, so it will be a bit still before I start posting that one. It's a fun story though, but different because it's the first story I'm doing that focuses on a child as the main character, that child being Apple Bloom. Not Dead Yet won't count because while the Crusaders are heavily featured, they are not the only focus of the story.
Speaking of Apple Bloom and Not Dead Yet, here's the first of the three character pieces I did for the cover art:
