Let's see where this goes · 4:18am Apr 22nd, 2015
As an author, I have a couple of preferred creative methods.
The one I like is feedback-based writing. I write something, look at comments and feedback on it, then use those criticisms and suggestions as a framework to make more writing easier. It requires a certain amount of reader interaction, but once I have it I can almost write consistently.
The one i'm ashamed about is also the source of almost all of my work: copious amounts of caffeine resulting in sleepless nights made less boring by writing, usually right before a big quiz or test. I wrote my first fic this way, and everything I've written like this has done better than the stuff I planned out and wrote while fully awake in daylight hours.
What I'm getting at here is that it's 9 PM where I live and I just downed a whole liter of Coke. I probably won't sleep until 3 AM, so with any luck, I may find inspiration in those witching hours of the midnight. If my muse sees fit to bless me with ideas, you readers might see chapter three of A Plea for Help by tomorrow.
Sweet Celestia help me.
