Feedback - Hiatus I · 2:43am Apr 25th, 2015

I've pretty much already talked about Feedback going on hiatus in the author's notes for the story itself. I will say it again here so that it can be on the record (after all that author's note will disappear once chapter five comes out).

Feedback is on hiatus so that I can do some serious editing to it. I want to, above all, produce a high quality story for all of you readers out there. While I think what I have (both for published chapters and unpublished chapters) is pretty good, it could always be better. So naturally, rather than give you a good chapter five next Wednesday, I'll give you a great chapter five in a few Wednesdays!

There will also be a second hiatus after chapter eight for the same reasons describe above.

This intense semester of University ends on Monday so I will have plenty of time to make lots of improvements to existing sections of the story. The plot won't be changed, so don't worry about having to re-read it to understand later chapters. It's merely improvements to show vs tell, emotional investment, and stuff like that. And, with luck, this mindset will be reflected in upcoming chapters as well!

Chapter five is currently on track for Wednesday May 13th. This is subject to change, but if it does I will say something about it. And furthermore, if it does change, you can bet it will be moved to another Wednesday.

As of now, the writing is going a bit slow (if you measure by chapter completion rate), as chapter seven is looking to be quite long in relation to other chapters (although this is true for six as well and likely will be for chapter eight). I'm having a lot of fun writing them because there is a lot of cool stuff that happens. Hype train? Hype train.

As far as current chapters go though, I also had a lot of fun writing out the debate in the tail-end of chapter four. Logic is always fun. I just hope all of it made sense though! That's one of my fears as a writing is that the story will be confusing.
