I'm going to make this short and sweet. I had something nice typed out, but apparently, Fimfic decided to delete it all for me, and I do not have the patience.
I'm done.
That's it. No more. All of my stories are hereby cancelled(sucks, because I still like Made of Glass, even though only a handful of people actually gave a shit about it), my presence on Fimfiction with be terribly scarce. You will probably not see much of me for a while now.
Instead of wasting my time, I'm going to do my best to be productive. Working on silly pony fanfics instead of my dreams is just a complete waste of time, and frankly, downright stupid in my eyes. I want to be an author. I've been working on my novel for 3 years now, including 3 rough drafts. That's right, I'm turning Sin into a legit novel.
Why? Because that story literally means the world to me. I don't need to explain further.
I want to pursue my career as an author directly, not through the cracks of another hobby. I want to share that story with the world. I guess that's one good thing that came out of Fimfic, but I digress.
If anyone is interested, I may or may not come back to update you all when I finish key points in my novel, and check comments on my other stories and whatnot. But this is my dream.
I cannot reach the stars here. Making the choice between fanfiction writing, and professional writing was a choice that I never needed to think twice about.
For all of you who read my stories, I thank you whole-heartedly. This will not be the last you'll hear of me. I'll be back in due time, with a smile on my face and a beautiful novel in my hands.
A story that will finally make me proud to call myself a writer.

Well, I was going to ask you about that story anyway. I've finished critiquing five chapters now, but aside from a few things Cerulean Voice has done with some of the comments, it doesn't appear any of that feedback is being used, unless you're keeping an updated version somewhere else. So I was already wondering if there was still a point in continuing with it, but now you're apparently planning to edit the whole thing to make it non-pony, which isn't a trivial change. It'd invalidate a lot of the points I made, introduce a lot of new material I haven't seen, and make me have to get to know the characters again, unless you're just going to make them direct analogs.
Is there a point in having me continue with what exists right now? I have to think it wouldn't do either of us any good until after you've revised them into OF chapters, but I'm not too keen on helping out with a non-pony story, particularly if your aim is to profit from it.
