You know, when i went to sleep last night, right after submitting Actually, I'm dead, I was expecting to awake and see how only close friends and loyal followers have read it. You know, pretty much like most of my "one-seat one-shots"; small audience, few comments and one or two seconds in the spotlight after spamming it to all the groups I could get it in.
I was wrong.
By the moment of this writing, my notifications indicate me that I have 13 new comments and 32 users are tracking it-- what?!
Dude, this story had got more attention in 24 hours than my two breakout fics in their first week (7 comments for The Conversion Bureau: Judgement Day and 5 for Stay in their first week). And that's without talking about the absurdly good likes/dislikes ratio of 31 vs 2!
What the actual eff?
Again, I wan't even expecting this to have this level of attention, much less this level of acceptance. Now I have to reply to thirteen comments and thank to 32 users for liking the story. Also, now I have another fic to work with. This is gonna be one of those nights, isn't it?
Oh well, expect you "thank you message" or reply in the story accordingly, but be patient, it may take a while. The next chapter should (that's a keyword there) be around this Saturday.
