It's been a long time coming, but I'm happy to announce that 'A.F.R.T. 11252257:054557' has gone up at Nimbus Productions.

Teaser/Preview: MLBB II: 'Race The Sunset'

Spitfire blinked in relative silence, not sure exactly what to say before the smallest of the three Stalliongrad pegasi jerked his head up, squinting at the approaching dusk.

    She's coming back...

I haven't worked on this story in... Six years?
So I figure... "I really, REALLY need to finish this last chapter. I mean, it's the LAST chapter and it's been sitting for YEARS!"

So I've had the document open, for two weeks now, trying to recapture my 'voice' from six years back.

    Just a random story prompt...

If anyone's interested in writing a 3 to 5 thousand word short, be my guest. But I wanted to write out the prompt of sorts that popped into my head today.

Instant full body flush, just add vitamins...

    Tagging FtFoNR because medical shenanigans...

So, interesting experience today. I'd like to think I know how to handle dealing with vitamins and supplements. I do my research, I check safe doses, antagonists, read warnings.

But sometimes, something just slips through in a moment of complacency.

Arrow 18: Omake Files · 11:57pm Jul 7th, 2015

Hey, Space Cowponies, Admiral Tigerclaw here.

I know I've completed Arrow 18 Mission Logs, Lone Ranger, and a lot of people have demanded a sequel for it, or the continuation of Sparkle's Notes. However, as I said last week, I've got some other fics that take priority. So there likely won't be anything on Sparkle's notes for a while. (At the rate I've been going? Probably a year or two... sheesh I've been too busy to write like I used to...)

But that doesn't mean we can't go places with Arrow 18. A suggestion from Kovabomb (Again... The guy keeps having good ideas. I'm not kidding, the whole Royal Recording was a one-sentence suggestion he made to me), is that I open up a 'story' that is effectively one of those archived collective/collaboration stories you see floating around here. Something like my scrapbox, but for you guys, about Arrow 18.

So to the Arrow 18 fans I ask this:

♫Do you want to write an omake-♫
*Is shot*

Yeah, okay. Winter this year was bad enough without charming the snow gods with a movie about blizzard witches.

But the offer stands. Fans, writers: Arrow 18 Mission logs is open to Omake* writings. Once a few are submitted to me, I will create a composite story to hold them and post them with credit to the writers. Suggestions from Kovabomb include things like, what the CMC did when they had Randy's instruments, and other such silly things that could have happened between the entries.

But before you hit that keyboard!

A few quality control rules:

1: I withhold the right to reject anything for any reason I see fit.
Now, I'm a nice guy, open minded, easy to entertain so I won't be raging about how someone got cannon/fanon a bit off on something. But I'm still going to read it myself before I post. This is my story you're tacking onto after all.

2: NO CLOP.
We're not going there. No. Let's just not. Silly shipping for humor is okay, but keep it child safe. Parents have read my story to their children after all. Let's not ruin it for them.

3: Minimum word limit on a submission is APPROXIMATELY one thousand words.
I'm not going to be a jerk about it if you're 996 words or so and just short of the bar, but TRY to get within' a hundred of the limit if you're going to go short. We want to keep readers entertained for more than two minutes. And you want something to actually READ, right?

4: Get your work checked and proofed before you submit to me.
I'm not your mother. I'm not your teacher. I'm not your editor. When it comes to me, it goes up as-is (assuming it is legible).

5: All Submissions are FINAL
That is to say, if it goes up, I'm not pulling it down on request (without SERIOUSLY good reason). If you submit, it will be there to be read, and it will stay there. That being said...

6: Submit with the name you wish to be known by on FimFic.
It WILL be posted along side the title of your submission.

7: Submit in plaintext format.
Again, I'm not your editor. I don't have time to slap together fancy formatting.

8: Contact me via PM for submission solution.
I'm not posting my email here to flood. PM me when you have a submission, and I'll determine the method to receive the document. Don't freak out if it takes me a few days to a few weeks. I never know what my job's going to do with me next. (For example, next week I'm on a plane to Atlanta, then into a rental car from there to Auburn University... Pretty short notice.)

9: You are not limited to Arrow 18's Log and/or Media Observation format.
That means you can Go Pro(se)! Isn't that wonderful?

All in all, I'm lenient, but don't make me do more work than I need to. I'm only one fleshbag.

*If you are not familiar with the term 'Omake' (oh-mock-ay) as used by Otaku/Anime fans, it is used to mean additional pieces of stories, usually not canon to the story itself. (Though sometimes it is in the form of a supplemental piece or cut scene.) Kind of like blooper reels, though they do not necessarily contain bloopers.

HUZZAH!!!!!! More delicious Arrow 18 goodness! oh I want to roll around in it like Nutella!! :pinkiecrazy:

Hah! Jokes on you, I'm using a phone! Now to go straight to story writing.

Perhaps a necro-anthro clopfic 500 words long. I won't waste anyone's time with editing, I'll be sure to fix it up in the next submissions that we send to the comment section. Ooh, I've got all sorts of out of site pictures that'll need to be embedded, hopefully he knows how to do that, cause I sure don't.

Does it have to be related to Arrow 18?

Man, aren't you just one hungry troll.

I'm sure Fluttershy would just love you and hug you and SQUEAZE all your gutsy-wutsies right out.

Or was that Elmyra?

Feh...

How about some 'Change is Good'? Is that behind 'Twilight's notes' on the priority list?

I HAVE IDEAS

Oh! I should have mentioned, and I'll update this in a second.

You're not limited to Arrow 18's log/media device observation format. You can write in regular prose.

Might I also suggest that you include an appendix referencing this blog post to the story its self? I've noticed that not that many people pay attention to the blogs on this site. If you want lots of people to see this announcement, a story update would be more eye catching than a simple blog post.

In other news, to those who read this post: You have been given a rare opportunity! You can add to the story yourself and not have to see it end if you don't want to! Make use of it. What was it like for Twilight's friends during those first weeks of Randy's mission on the ground? What were the negotiations with Queen Chrysalis like? What kind of emotional trauma did she go through in her realization that she almost destroyed Equestria? What was the fallout of Arrow 18's return to Earth without its Commander like? You have the power to answer these questions and more!

Is it still going?
