I Came Back To Post One Little Thing, Then I'll Leave Again

I had mentioned before that a book called The Last Centurion had largely read like an opposite day prophecy about 2020. I thought I'd mention a little factoid about the book, due to recent events. Scroll down for a spoiler.

I Deleted My Last Blog Post... Again

Not over racism this time, but because what should have been a forum for civil discussion about the debate had quickly become extremely uncivil. I stopped it before I had to ban anyone, but I've learned my lesson. I'm going to stop trying to discuss politics on my blog, because it is clear to me now that not even Bronies are capable of civil, rational discussion of politics in 2020, and that

I Want To Get This Off My Chest

I keep seeing people posting stuff about how "The virus isn't going away, viruses never go away, you guys just need to deal with it".

Here's some straight truth for you guys.

And here's a link where I cite my sources about SARS.

I Deleted My Most Recent Blog Post

Seeing what the discussion in the comments was turning into, I opted to simply delete it over deleting some of the posts I saw on it. While political discussion is one thing, racism is not something I'll stand for. Have a good Labor Day Weekend, everyone.

I've Got A Book I Want To Discuss With You Guys

Alright. The book in question is called The Last Centurion, By John Ringo. He's actually a sci-fi author whose novels I've read and enjoyed. The Last Centurion isn't so much a sci-fi novel as it is a Twenty Minutes Into The Future Near-Apocalypse Military Campaign tale. The story takes place in a supposed near future where a combination of a mini-ice age and a global pandemic strikes the

Someone mentioned this, and I thought I should post the answer here, as well... · 6:15am Jul 28th, 2015

You really live up to your username. This chapter was basically complete bucking nonsense. I shudder to imagine what inspired this.

Honestly? Space Jam. No, I'm serious. That scene where Michael Jordon realizes that he's in a cartoon world, and as such, can defy the laws of physics, allowing him to stretch his body to the point he can dunk the ball from the other side of the court.

There's also Who Framed Roger Rabbit, where Toons, who can say 'F*** You' to physics at will, results in a rather terrifying battle at the end with the Big Bad (I won't reveal his name in order to avoid spoilers), who is able to change his hands into weapons at will and spontaneously sprout bouncing springs on his feet.

There was also a Looney Toons cartoon where Daffy Duck was at the mercy of a rather cruel artist, and it wasn't revealed until the end that it was actually Bugs Bunny who was putting him through that misfortune, likely as revenge for all those 'Rabbit Season' posters. If a cartoon character can rewrite reality from within the show itself, then that has some terrifying ramifications.

Not many people consider the ramifications of what a person in a cartoon universe would be capable of, if he were aware of the fact that he can do those things. While Ambrose may not have realized that Equestria is a cartoon universe, he has realized that reality is incredibly... flexible in Equestria.

As for my status, waiting for another cool day. When I get one, I'll work on stuff some more.

Oh my god, I remember that cartoon with Daffy Duck. I think that's my favorite cartoon to come out of Looney Toons ever.

Sorry to hear you're not getting very many cool days, hope you get a nice string of 'em sometime soon.

falls over twitching
Thank you. :pinkiecrazy:

At about 2:29 in that video, it pretty much represents the thoughts of users on the anthro chapter, sadly.

3275757 Seems like 3:04 is more accurate for that to me.

I guess so; they're reading and reading then suddenly... Bam, hit 'em outta nowhere.

Why can't cartoons nowadays be more like this, when the animators actually cared instead of "OMGLOLSORANDUMB". And personally, after reading that chapter I sat there for a minute like "Wait, what?"

Explanation, yay!

Hopefully you'll get a cooler day soon. If not for the writing, then at least for your own sanity.
