I am disappointing maybe? (New Story, Help wanted?) · 7:09am Aug 1st, 2015
Okay, well, a bit. I'm not super focused on on story right now. I've started a bunch, but never really finished anything. But a couple of nights ago I started this:
Two sleepless nights, and only 700 words. But I can't not think about my ideas for it.
The premise is, after earth is abandoned by man, an automated facility run by the AI 'Jasper' is bent on recreating intelligent life in order to satiate Jasper's need for interaction. The limited resources cause this to take... a long time. A very long time. Insanity-inducing, AI-deteriorating time. And the product of the genetics labors?
I bet you can guess. More happens after, but putting more here is spoilers.
The name isn't set, that was a placeholder until I think of a better one.
Oh, and uhm, if anyone wants to help at all, in any way (Proofread, editing, co-writing, even just suggestions) please tell me! I'd really be happy if you did!
Oh, but I'm not abandoning Xenoblade: Another world! Or that other story in the style of 'Well that's not right at all.' that I've been working on!
