Well, I've gotten several messages asking me if I'll be attending this year's Nightmare Nights convention, as I had every year in the past. It is my home convention, it means a lot to me. I love the people there, the fun I have there, and everything that is there.
However, I am saddened to say that I will not be attending this year.
The reason for this is that not only am I in college now at Texas A&M, but I am also in the Corps of Cadets. This means that my first commitment is to the university and to the Corps. I am very cut up about having to miss Nightmare Nights 2015, especially because people have told me they were looking forward to seeing me again and hearing my saxophone again. But, as I said, as a cadet, I am unable to get out of the plans the Corps has for me this weekend.
For those of you who are going, be sure to have fun! It's a convention, that's what is supposed to happen. Just know that it will happen without the random saxophone jingle or the occasional blasting of tunes. I'll miss all of you, and I hope all of you will say hello to everyone there for me.
I'm not tearing up, I swear. Sax Guy out.
